birth before the midwife comes to them4

a son4  ,when she saw that he was       
a fine child1 she hid him three months4

for him1 and coated it with tar and with

it1 and laid it in the reeds by

people were scattered abroad throughout 
all the land          of ,egypt to      
gather stubble for straw4  #jje3jac ,the

 taskmasters were urgent saying1        
,fulfill your work quota daily1         
as when there was straw6  #jje3jad ,the 
officers of the children of ,israel1    
whom ,pharaoh's          taskmasters had
 set over them1 were beaten1 and        
demanded1          ,why haven't you     
fulfilled your quota both yesterday and 
today1          in making brick as      
before8  #jje3jae ,then the officers of 
the children of ,israel came and cried  
to ,pharaoh1 saying1 ,why do you deal   
this way with your servants8  #jje3jaf  
,no straw is given to your servants1 and
 they tell us1          ',make brick6'  
and behold1 your servants are beaten2   
but the fault is in your own people4    
#jje3jag ,but he said1 ,you are idle6   
,you are idle6  ,therefore you say1     
',let us go and sacrifice to ,yahweh4'

for no straw shall be given to you1     
yet shall you deliver the same number of

children of ,israel saw that they were  

in trouble1 when it was said1 ,you shall

,they met ,moses and ,aaron1 who stood  
in the way1 as they came          forth

to them1 ,may ,yahweh look at you1 and  
judge1          because you have made us
 a stench to be abhorred in the eyes    
of ,pharaoh1 and in the eyes of his     
servants1 to put a sword          in

returned to ,yahweh1 and said1 ,lord1   
why have you brought          trouble on
 this people8  ,why is it that you have

have you delivered          your people

the river died2 and the river became    
foul1          and the ,egyptians       
couldn't drink water from the river2    
and the blood was throughout all the

 of ,egypt did in like manner with their
 enchantments2          and ,pharaoh's  
heart was hardened1 and he didn't listen
 to them2          as ,yahweh had

went into his house1 neither did he lay

,egyptians dug round about the river for
 water to drink2          for they

all your          borders with frogs3

          that you may know that there

,moses1 ,tell ,aaron1 ',stretch out your

the earth1 that it may become lice      
throughout all the land of ,egypt4'

stretched out his hand with his rod1    
and struck the dust of the earth1 and   
there were lice on man1          and on 
animal2 all the dust of the earth became
 lice throughout          all the land

tried with their enchantments to bring  
forth lice1          but they couldn't4 
,there were lice on man1 and on animal4

,pharaoh1 ,this is the finger of ,god3  

and ,pharaoh's heart was hardened1 and  
he didn't listen to them2          as

said to ,moses1 ,rise up early in the   
morning1          and stand before      
,pharaoh2 behold1 he comes forth to the 
water2          and tell him1 ',this is 
what ,yahweh says1 ,let my people go1

 if you will not let my people go1      
behold1 ,i will send swarms          of 
flies on you1 and on your servants1 and 
on your people1          and into your  
houses3  and the houses of the          
,egyptians shall be          full of    
swarms of flies1 and also the ground    
whereon they are4  #jjh3jbb ,i will set 
apart in that day the land of ,goshen1  
in which          my people dwell1 that 
no swarms of flies shall be there2      
to the end you may know that ,i am      
,yahweh in the midst          of the    
earth4  #jjh3jbc ,i will put a division 
between my people and your people3      
by tomorrow shall this sign be4'        

#jjh3jbd ,yahweh did so2 and there came 
grievous swarms of flies          into  
the house of ,pharaoh1 and into his     
servants' houses3          and in all   
the land of ,egypt the land was         
corrupted by reason          of the     
swarms of flies4  #jjh3jbe ,pharaoh     
called for ,moses and for ,aaron1 and   
said1 ,go1 sacrifice to          your   
,god in the land6  #jjh3jbf ,moses said1
 ,it isn't appropriate to do so2 for we 
shall          sacrifice the abomination
 of the ,egyptians to ,yahweh our ,god4 
,behold1 shall we sacrifice the         
abomination of the ,egyptians           
before their eyes1 and won't they stone 
us8  #jjh3jbg ,we will go three days'   
journey into the wilderness1 and        
sacrifice          to ,yahweh our ,god1

,pharaoh said1 ,i will let you go1 that 
you may sacrifice to ,yahweh            
your ,god in the wilderness1 only you   
shall not go very far away4

,behold1 ,i go out from you1 and ,i will
 pray          to ,yahweh that the      
swarms of flies may depart from         
,pharaoh1          from his servants1   
and from his people1 tomorrow2 only     
don't          let ,pharaoh deal        
deceitfully any more in not letting the 
people          go to sacrifice to      
,yahweh4  #jjh3jcj ,moses went out from 
,pharaoh1 and prayed to ,yahweh4

word of ,moses1 and he removed the      
swarms          of flies from ,pharaoh1 
from his servants1 and from his people4

,pharaoh hardened his heart this time   
also1 and he didn't let          the    
people go4  #jji3jja ,then ,yahweh said 
to ,moses1 ,go in to ,pharaoh1 and tell 
him1          ',this is what ,yahweh1   
the ,god of the ,hebrews1 says3         
,let my people go1 that they may serve  
me4  #jji3jjb ,for if you refuse to let 
them go1 and hold them still1  #jji3jjc 
behold1 the hand of ,yahweh is on your  

livestock which are          in the     
field1 on the horses1 on the donkeys1 on
 the camels1          on the herds1 and 
on the flocks with a very grievous      
pestilence4  #jji3jjd ,yahweh will make 
a distinction between the livestock of  
,israel          and the livestock of   
,egypt2 and there shall nothing die     
of all that belongs to the children of  
,israel4'  #jji3jje ,yahweh appointed a 
set time1 saying1 ,tomorrow ,yahweh     
shall          do this thing in the     
land4  #jji3jjf ,yahweh did that thing  
on the next day2 and all the livestock  
of ,egypt died1 but of the livestock of 
the children of ,israel1          not   
one died4  #jji3jjg ,pharaoh sent1 and1 
behold1 there was not so much as one of 
the livestock of the ,israelites dead4  
,but the heart of ,pharaoh          was 
stubborn1 and he didn't let the people  
go4  #jji3jjh ,yahweh said to ,moses and
 to ,aaron1 ,take to you handfuls       
of ashes of the furnace1 and let ,moses 
sprinkle it toward          the sky in  

the sight of ,pharaoh4  #jji3jji ,it    
shall become small dust over all the    
land of ,egypt1 and shall          be a 
boil breaking forth with boils on man   
and on animal1          throughout all  
the land of ,egypt4  #jji3jaj ,they took
 ashes of the furnace1 and stood before 
,pharaoh2          and ,moses sprinkled 
it up toward the sky2 and it became a   
boil          breaking forth with boils 
on man and on animal4  #jji3jaa ,the    
magicians couldn't stand before ,moses  
because of the boils2          for the  
boils were on the magicians1 and on all

hardened the heart of ,pharaoh1 and he

,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,rise up early

,for this time ,i will send all my      

plagues against your heart1             
against your officials1 and against your
 people2 that you          may know that
 there is none like me in all the earth4

forth my hand1 and struck you and       
your people with pestilence1 and you    
would have been cut off          from   
the earth2  #jji3jaf but indeed for this
 cause ,i have made you stand3          
to show you my power1 and that my name  
may be declared          throughout all

yourself against my people1 that you    
won't          let them go4  #jji3jah   
,behold1 tomorrow about this time ,i    
will cause it to rain a very            
grievous hail1 such as has not been in  
,egypt since the day          it was    
founded even until now4  #jji3jai ,now  
therefore command that all of your      
livestock and all          that you have
 in the field be brought into shelter4  
,every man and animal that is found in  
the field1          and isn't brought   

home1 the hail shall come down on them1 
and they shall die4'  #jji3jbj ,those   
who feared the word of ,yahweh among the
 servants of ,pharaoh          made     
their servants and their livestock flee 
into the houses4  #jji3jba ,whoever     
didn't regard the word of ,yahweh left  
his servants          and his livestock 
in the field4  #jji3jbb ,yahweh said to 
,moses1 ,stretch forth your hand toward 
the sky1          that there may be hail
 in all the land of ,egypt1 on man1     
and on animal1 and on every herb of the 
field1 throughout the          land of  
,egypt4  #jji3jbc ,moses stretched forth
 his rod toward the heavens1 and ,yahweh
          sent thunder1 hail1 and       
lightning flashed down to the earth4    
,yahweh rained hail on the land of      
,egypt4  #jji3jbd ,so there was very    
severe hail1 and lightning mixed with   
the hail1          such as had not been 
in all the land of ,egypt since it      
became a nation4  #jji3jbe ,the hail    
struck throughout all the land of ,egypt

 all that was          in the field1    
both man and animal2 and the hail struck
 every          herb of the field1 and  
broke every tree of the field4  #jji3jbf
 ,only in the land of ,goshen1 where the
 children of ,israel were1              
there was no hail4  #jji3jbg ,pharaoh   
sent1 and called for ,moses and ,aaron1 
and said to them1          ,i have      
sinned this time4  ,yahweh is righteous1
 and ,i and my          people are      
wicked4  #jji3jbh ,pray to ,yahweh2 for 
there has been enough of mighty         
thunderings          and hail4  ,i will 
let you go1 and you shall stay no       
longer4  #jji3jbi ,moses said to him1   
,as soon as ,i have gone out of the     
city1          ,i will spread abroad my 
hands to ,yahweh4  ,the thunders        
shall cease1 neither shall there be any 
more hail2 that you          may know   
that the earth is ,yahweh's4  #jji3jcj  
,but as for you and your servants1 ,i   
know that you don't yet          fear   
,yahweh ,god4  #jji3jca ,the flax and   

the barley were struck1 for the barley  
was in the ear1          and the flax   
was in bloom4  #jji3jcb ,but the wheat  
and the spelt were not struck1 for they 
had          not grown up4  #jji3jcc    
,moses went out of the city from        
,pharaoh1 and spread abroad          his
 hands to ,yahweh2 and the thunders and 
hail ceased1          and the rain was  
not poured on the earth4  #jji3jcd ,when
 ,pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail
 and the thunders          were ceased1 
he sinned yet more1 and hardened his    
heart1          he and his servants4    
#jji3jce ,the heart of ,pharaoh was     
hardened1 and he didn't let the children
          of ,israel go1 just as ,yahweh
 had spoken through ,moses4  #jaj3jja   
,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,go in to       
,pharaoh1 for ,i have hardened          
his heart1 and the heart of his         
servants1 that ,i may show              
these my signs in the midst of them1    
#jaj3jjb and that you may tell in the   
hearing of your son1          and of    

your son's son1 what things ,i have done
 to ,egypt1          and my signs which 
,i have done among them2 that you may   
know          that ,i am ,yahweh4

,pharaoh1 and said to him1              
,this is what ,yahweh1 the ,god of the  
,hebrews1 says3          ',how long will
 you refuse to humble yourself before   
me8          ,let my people go1 that

if you refuse to let my people go1      
behold1 tomorrow ,i          will bring 
locusts into your country1  #jaj3jje and
 they shall cover the surface of the    
earth1 so that one          won't be    
able to see the earth4  ,they shall eat 
the residue          of that which has  
escaped1 which remains to you from the  
hail1          and shall eat every tree 
which grows for you out of the field4

and the houses of all          your     
servants1 and the houses of all the     
,egyptians2          as neither your    

fathers nor your fathers' fathers have  
seen1          since the day that they  
were on the earth to this day4'         
,he turned1 and went out from ,pharaoh4 
#jaj3jjg ,pharaoh's servants said to    
him1 ,how long will this man be a snare 
to us8  ,let the men go1 that they may  
serve ,yahweh1 their ,god4              
,don't you yet know that ,egypt is      
destroyed8  #jaj3jjh ,moses and ,aaron  
were brought again to ,pharaoh1 and he  
said          to them1 ,go1 serve       
,yahweh your ,god2 but who are those    
who will go8  #jaj3jji ,moses said1 ,we 
will go with our young and with our old2
          with our sons and with our    
daughters1 with our flocks and with     
our herds will we go2 for we must hold a
 feast to ,yahweh4  #jaj3jaj ,he said to
 them1 ,yahweh be with you if ,i will   
let you go          with your little    
ones6  ,see1 evil is clearly before your
 faces4  #jaj3jaa ,not so6  ,go now you 
who are men1 and serve ,yahweh2 for that

were driven out from ,pharaoh's

,moses1 ,stretch out your hand over the 
land          of ,egypt for the locusts1
 that they may come up on the land      
of ,egypt1 and eat every herb of the    
land1 even all that          the hail   
has left4  #jaj3jac ,moses stretched    
forth his rod over the land of ,egypt1  
and ,yahweh brought an east wind on the 
land all that day1          and all the 
night2 and when it was morning1 the east
 wind          brought the locusts4     
#jaj3jad ,the locusts went up over all  
the land of ,egypt1 and rested          
in all the borders of ,egypt4  ,they    
were very grievous4          ,before    
them there were no such locusts as they1
 neither after          them shall be

surface of the whole earth1 so that     
the land was darkened1 and they ate     
every herb of the land1          and all
 the fruit of the trees which the hail  
had left4          ,there remained      

nothing green1 either tree or herb of   
the field1          through all the land

called for ,moses and ,aaron in haste1  
and he said1          ,i have sinned    
against ,yahweh your ,god1 and against  
you4  #jaj3jag ,now therefore please    
forgive my sin again1 and pray to       
,yahweh          your ,god1 that he may 
also take away from me this death4

turned an exceeding strong west wind1   
which took up          the locusts1 and 
drove them into the ,red ,seaor1 ,sea of

one locust in all the borders of ,egypt4

,pharaoh's heart1 and he didn't let

,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,stretch out    
your hand toward the sky1          that 
there may be darkness over the land of  
,egypt1 even darkness          which may
 be felt4  #jaj3jbb ,moses stretched    

forth his hand toward the sky1 and there
 was          a thick darkness in all   
the land of ,egypt three days4  #jaj3jbc
 ,they didn't see one another1 neither  
did anyone rise from his          place 
for three days2 but all the children of 
,israel had light          in their     
dwellings4  #jaj3jbd ,pharaoh called to 
,moses1 and said1 ,go1 serve ,yahweh4   
,only let your flocks and your herds    
stay behind4          ,let your little  
ones also go with you4  #jaj3jbe ,moses 
said1 ,you must also give into our hand 
sacrifices          and burnt offerings1
 that we may sacrifice to ,yahweh our

shall go with us4  ,there shall not a   
hoof          be left behind1 for of it 
we must take to serve ,yahweh           
our ,god2 and we don't know with what we
 must serve ,yahweh1          until we

hardened ,pharaoh's heart1 and he       
wouldn't let them go4  #jaj3jbh ,pharaoh
 said to him1 ,get away from me6  ,be   

careful to see my          face no more2
 for in the day you see my face you

have spoken well4  ,i will see your face

,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,yet one plague 
more will ,i bring          on ,pharaoh1
 and on ,egypt2 afterwards he will let  
you go4          ,when he lets you go1  
he will surely thrust you out

ears of the people1 and let them ask    
every          man of his neighbor1 and 
every woman of her neighbor1            
jewels of silver1 and jewels of gold4

says3  ',about midnight ,i          will
 go out into the midst of ,egypt1

land of ,egypt shall die1          from 
the firstborn of ,pharaoh who sits on   
his throne1 even to          the        
firstborn of the female servant who is  
behind the mill2          and all the

 shall be a great cry throughout all the
 land of ,egypt1          such as there 
has not been1 nor shall be any more4

children of ,israel a dog won't

day of this month1 they shall take to   
them every man a lamb1                  
according to their fathers' houses1 a

the household be too little for a lamb1 
then he and          his neighbor next  
to his house shall take one according   
to the number of the souls2 according to
 what everyone can          eat you     
shall make your count for the lamb4

blood1 and put it on the two doorposts  
and on the lintel1 on the houses in

 shall eat the flesh in that night1     
roasted with fire1          and         
unleavened bread4  ,they shall eat it   
with bitter herbs4  #jab3jji ,don't eat 
it raw1 nor boiled at all with water1   
but roasted          with fire2 with its
 head1 its legs and its inner parts4    
#jab3jaj ,you shall let nothing of it   
remain until the morning2          but  
that which remains of it until the      
morning you shall          burn with

eat it3  with your waist girded1        
your shoes on your feet1 and your staff 
in your hand2          and you shall eat
 it in haste3  it is ,yahweh's

night1 and will strike          all the 
firstborn in the land of ,egypt1 both   
man and animal4          ,against all   
the gods of ,egypt ,i will execute      
judgments3          ,i am ,yahweh4

a token on the houses where you are3    
and when ,i see the blood1 ,i will pass 
over you1 and there          shall no   
plague be on you to destroy you1 when ,i
 strike          the land of ,egypt4

 memorial1 and you shall keep           
it a feast to ,yahweh3  throughout your 
generations you shall          keep it a
 feast by an ordinance forever4

with the blood that is in the basin2 and
 none of you shall          go out of   
the door of his house until the morning4

through to strike the ,egyptians2 and   
when          he sees the blood on the

,yahweh will pass over the door1 and    
will not allow the destroyer          to
 come in to your houses to strike you4

for an ordinance to you and to

happen when you have come to the land

according as he has promised1 that you

shall say1 ',it is the sacrifice of

so2 as ,yahweh had commanded

firstborn which you have that comes from

 shall go into          the midst of the

behold1 ,i will harden the hearts of the

in after them3  and ,i will get myself  
honor          over ,pharaoh1 and over  
all his armies1 over his chariots1

,yahweh1 when ,i have          gotten   
myself honor over ,pharaoh1 over his    
chariots1          and over his

who went before the camp of ,israel1    
moved and went behind them2 and the     
pillar of cloud moved          from     
before them1 and stood behind them4

,egypt and the camp of ,israel2 and     
there          was the cloud and the    
darkness1 yet gave it light by night3   
and the one didn't come near the other

stretched out his hand over the sea1 and
 ,yahweh caused          the sea to go  
back by a strong east wind all the      
night1          and made the sea dry    
land1 and the waters were divided4

wall to them on their          right

watch1 that ,yahweh looked out on

,he took off their chariot wheels1 and  
they drove them heavily2          so    
that the ,egyptians said1 ,let's flee   
from the face of ,israel1          for  
,yahweh fights for them against the

,moses1 ,stretch out your hand over the 
sea1          that the waters may come  
again on the ,egyptians1 on their       
chariots1          and on their         
horsemen4  #jad3jbg ,moses stretched out
 his hand over the sea1 and the sea     
returned          to its strength when  
the morning appeared2 and the ,egyptians
          fled against it4  ,yahweh     
overthrew the ,egyptians in the midst   
of the sea4  #jad3jbh ,the waters       
returned1 and covered the chariots and  
the horsemen1          even all         
,pharaoh's army that went in after them 
into the sea4          ,there remained  
not so much as one of them4  #jad3jbi   
,but the children of ,israel walked on  
dry land in the midst of          the   
sea1 and the waters were a wall to them 

on their right hand1          and on    
their left4  #jad3jcj ,thus ,yahweh     
saved ,israel that day out of the hand  
of the ,egyptians2          and ,israel 
saw the ,egyptians dead on the seashore4

which ,yahweh did to the ,egyptians1    
and the people feared ,yahweh2 and they 
believed in ,yahweh1          and in his

and the children of ,israel sang this   
song to ,yahweh1          and said1 ,i  
will sing to ,yahweh1 for he has        
triumphed gloriously4          ,the     
horse and his rider he has thrown into

and song4  ,he has become my salvation4

,the deeps cover them4  ,they went down 
into the depths          like a stone4

glorious in power4          ,your right 
hand1 ,yahweh1 dashes the enemy in

your excellency1 you overthrow those

hand4  ,the earth swallowed them4

have led the people that you            
have redeemed4  ,you have guided them in
 your strength          to your holy

the horses of ,pharaoh went in with his 
chariots and with          his horsemen 
into the sea1 and ,yahweh brought back  
the waters          of the sea on them2 
but the children of ,israel walked on   
dry          land in the midst of the   
sea4  #jae3jbj ,miriam the prophetess1  
the sister of ,aaron1 took a tambourine 
in her hand2 and all the women went out 
after her with tambourines          and 
with dances4  #jae3jba ,miriam answered 
them1 ,sing to ,yahweh1 for he has      
triumphed gloriously4  ,the horse and   
his rider he has thrown          into   
the sea4  #jae3jbb ,moses led ,israel   
onward from the ,red ,seaor1 ,sea of    
,reeds1          and they went out into 
the wilderness of ,shur2 and they went  
three days in the wilderness1 and found

listen to the voice of          ,yahweh 
your ,god1 and will do that which is    
right in his eyes1          and will pay
 attention to his commandments1 and keep
 all          his statutes1 ,i will put 
none of the diseases on you1 which ,i   
have put on the ,egyptians2 for ,i am   
,yahweh who heals you4  #jae3jbg ,they  
came to ,elim1 where there were twelve  
springs of water1          and seventy  
palm trees3  and they encamped there by 
the waters4  #jaf3jja ,they took their  
journey from ,elim1 and all the         
congregation          of the children of

 ,israel came to the wilderness of ,sin1
          which is between ,elim and    
,sinai1 on the fifteenth day of the     
second          month after their       
departing out of the land of ,egypt4    
#jaf3jjb ,the whole congregation of the 
children of ,israel murmured            
against ,moses and against ,aaron in the
 wilderness2  #jaf3jjc and the children 
of ,israel said to them1 ,we wish that  
we          had died by the hand of     
,yahweh in the land of ,egypt1          
when we sat by the meat pots1 when we   
ate our fill of bread1          for you 
have brought us out into this           
wilderness1 to kill          this whole 
assembly with hunger4  #jaf3jjd ,then   
said ,yahweh to ,moses1 ,behold1 ,i will
 rain bread from          the sky for   
you1 and the people shall go out and    
gather          a day's portion every   
day1 that ,i may test them1 whether they
          will walk in my law1 or not4  
#jaf3jje ,it shall come to pass on the  
sixth day1 that they shall prepare      

that which they bring in1 and it shall  
be twice as much          as they gather
 daily4  #jaf3jjf ,moses and ,aaron said
 to all the children of ,israel1 ,at    
evening1          then you shall know   
that ,yahweh has brought you out from   
the land of ,egypt2  #jaf3jjg and in the
 morning1 then you shall see the glory  
of ,yahweh2          because he hears   
your murmurings against ,yahweh4        
,who are we1 that you murmur against us8

to ,aaron1 ,tell all the congregation of

',come near before ,yahweh1 for he has

happened1 as ,aaron spoke to the whole  
congregation of the          children of

 ,israel1 that they looked toward the   
wilderness1          and behold1 the    
glory of ,yahweh appeared in the cloud4 
#jaf3jaa ,yahweh spoke to ,moses1       
saying1  #jaf3jab ,i have heard the     
murmurings of the children of ,israel4  
,speak to them1 saying1 ',at evening you
 shall eat meat1          and in the    
morning you shall be filled with bread3 
and you shall know that ,i am ,yahweh   
your ,god4'  #jaf3jac ,it happened at   
evening that quail came up and covered  
the camp2          and in the morning   
the dew lay around the camp4  #jaf3jad  
,when the dew that lay had gone1 behold1
 on the surface of          the         
wilderness was a small round thing1     
small as the frost          on the      
ground4  #jaf3jae ,when the children of 
,israel saw it1 they said one to        
another1          ,what is it8  ,for    
they didn't know what it was4           
,moses said to them1 ,it is the bread   
which ,yahweh has given          you to 
eat4  #jaf3jaf ,this is the thing which 

,yahweh has commanded3          ,gather 
of it everyone according to his eating2 
an omer a head1          according to   
the number of your persons1 shall you   
take it1          every man for those   
who are in his tent4  #jaf3jag ,the     
children of ,israel did so1 and gathered
 some more1 some less4  #jaf3jah ,when  
they measured it with an omer1 he who   
gathered much          had nothing over1
 and he who gathered little had no lack4
          ,they gathered every man      
according to his eating4  #jaf3jai      
,moses said to them1 ,let no one leave  
of it until the morning4  #jaf3jbj      
,notwithstanding they didn't listen to  
,moses1 but some of them left           
of it until the morning1 and it bred    
worms1 and became foul3          and    
,moses was angry with them4  #jaf3jba   
,they gathered it morning by morning1   
everyone according          to his      
eating4  ,when the sun grew hot1 it     
melted4  #jaf3jbb ,it happened that on  
the sixth day they gathered twice as    

much bread1          two omers for each 
one1 and all the rulers of the          
congregation          came and told     
,moses4  #jaf3jbc ,he said to them1     
,this is that which ,yahweh has spoken1 
',tomorrow is a solemn rest1 a holy     
,sabbath to ,yahweh4          ,bake that
 which you want to bake1 and boil that  
which you          want to boil2 and all
 that remains over lay up for yourselves
          to be kept until the morning4'
  #jaf3jbd ,they laid it up until the   
morning1 as ,moses asked1 and it        
didn't become foul1 neither was there   
any worm in it4  #jaf3jbe ,moses said1  
,eat that today1 for today is a ,sabbath
 to ,yahweh4          ,today you shall  
not find it in the field4  #jaf3jbf ,six
 days you shall gather it1 but on the   
seventh day is the ,sabbath4            
,in it there shall be none4  #jaf3jbg   
,it happened on the seventh day1 that   
some of the people went          out to 
gather1 and they found none4  #jaf3jbh  
,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,how long do you

 refuse to keep my          commandments
 and my laws8  #jaf3jbi ,behold1 because
 ,yahweh has given you the ,sabbath1    
therefore he gives you on the sixth day 
the bread of two days4                  
,everyone stay in his place4  ,let no   
one go out of his place          on the 
seventh day4  #jaf3jcj ,so the people   
rested on the seventh day4  #jaf3jca    
,the house of ,israel called the name of
 it ,manna1,manna          means ,what  
is it8 and it was like coriander seed1  
white2          and its taste was like

said1 ,this is the thing which ,yahweh  
has commanded1          ',let an        
omer-full of it be kept throughout your 
generations1          that they may see 
the bread with which ,i fed you in the  
wilderness1          when ,i brought you
 forth from the land of ,egypt4'

pot1 and put an omer-full          of   
manna in it1 and lay it up before       
,yahweh1 to be kept          throughout

commanded ,moses1 so ,aaron laid it up  
before the ,testimony1          to be   
kept4  #jaf3jce ,the children of ,israel
 ate the manna forty years1 until they  
came to an inhabited land4  ,they ate

the borders of the land of ,canaan4

traveled          from the wilderness of

to drink4  ,moses said to them1 ,why do

 and said1 ,why have you brought us up  
out of ,egypt1          to kill us1 our 

children1 and our livestock with thirst8

people8          ,they are almost ready

take          the elders of ,israel with

,you shall strike the rock1 and water   
will come out of it1          that the  
people may drink4  ,moses did so in the 
sight          of the elders of ,israel4

and ,meribah1,meribah means quarreling4 
because the children          of ,israel
 quarreled1 and because they tested

 the goodness which ,yahweh had done    
to ,israel1 in that he had delivered    
them out of the hand          of the

,pharaoh2          who has delivered the

burnt offering and sacrifices

and the people stood around ,moses from

 and all the people stand around you

,moses said to his father-in-law1       
,because the people come          to me 
to inquire of ,god4  #jah3jaf ,when they
 have a matter1 they come to me1 and ,i 
judge between a man          and his    

neighbor1 and ,i make them know the     
statutes of ,god1          and his laws4
  #jah3jag ,moses' father-in-law said to
 him1 ,the thing that you do          is
 not good4  #jah3jah ,you will surely   
wear away1 both you1 and this people    
that is with you2 for the thing is too  
heavy for you4          ,you are not    
able to perform it yourself alone4      
#jah3jai ,listen now to my voice4  ,i   
will give you counsel1 and ,god         
be with you4  ,you represent the people 
before ,god1 and bring          the     
causes to ,god4  #jah3jbj ,you shall    
teach them the statutes and the laws1   
and shall          show them the way in 
which they must walk1 and the work      
that they must do4  #jah3jba ,moreover  
you shall provide out of all the people 
able men1          such as fear ,god3   
men of truth1 hating unjust gain2 and   
place          such over them1 to be    
rulers of thousands1 rulers of hundreds1
          rulers of fifties1 and rulers 
of tens4  #jah3jbb ,let them judge the  

people at all times4  ,it shall be that 
every          great matter they shall  
bring to you1 but every small matter    
they shall judge themselves4  ,so shall 
it be easier for you1          and they 
shall share the load with you4  #jah3jbc
 ,if you will do this thing1 and ,god   
commands you so1 then you          will 
be able to endure1 and all of these     
people also will go          to their   
place in peace4  #jah3jbd ,so ,moses    
listened to the voice of his            
father-in-law1 and did          all that
 he had said4  #jah3jbe ,moses chose    
able men out of all ,israel1 and made   
them heads          over the people1    
rulers of thousands1 rulers of hundreds1
          rulers of fifties1 and rulers 
of tens4  #jah3jbf ,they judged the     
people at all times4  ,they brought the 
hard          causes to ,moses1 but     
every small matter they judged          
themselves4  #jah3jbg ,moses let his    
father-in-law depart1 and he went his   
way into          his own land4         

#jai3jja ,in the third month after the  
children of ,israel had gone            
forth out of the land of ,egypt1 on that
 same day they came          into the   
wilderness of ,sinai4  #jai3jjb ,when   
they had departed from ,rephidim1 and   
had come to          the wilderness of  
,sinai1 they encamped in the wilderness2
          and there ,israel encamped    
before the mountain4  #jai3jjc ,moses   
went up to ,god1 and ,yahweh called to  
him out of the mountain1                
saying1 ,this is what you shall tell the
 house of ,jacob1          and tell the 
children of ,israel3  #jai3jjd ',you    
have seen what ,i did to the ,egyptians1
 and how ,i bore          you on eagles'
 wings1 and brought you to myself4      
#jai3jje ,now therefore1 if you will    
indeed obey my voice1 and keep my       
covenant1          then you shall be my 
own possession from among all peoples2  
for all the earth is mine2  #jai3jjf and
 you shall be to me a kingdom of

speak to the children          of

called for the elders of the people1 and
 set          before them all these     
words which ,yahweh commanded him4

together1 and said1 ,all that ,yahweh   
has spoken we will do4  ,moses reported 
the words of the          people to     
,yahweh4  #jai3jji ,yahweh said to      
,moses1 ,behold1 ,i come to you in a    
thick cloud1          that the people   
may hear when ,i speak with you1 and may
 also believe          you forever4     
,moses told the words of the people to

,moses1 ,go to the people1 and sanctify 
them          today and tomorrow1 and   
let them wash their garments1  #jai3jaa 
and be ready against the third day2 for 
on the third day ,yahweh          will  
come down in the sight of all the people

set bounds to the people round about1   

saying1 ',be careful          that you  
don't go up onto the mountain1 or touch 
its border4          ,whoever touches   
the mountain shall be surely put to     
death4  #jai3jac ,no hand shall touch   
him1 but he shall surely be stoned or   
shot through2 whether it is animal or   
man1 he shall not live4'          ,when 
the trumpet sounds long1 they shall come
 up to the mountain4  #jai3jad ,moses   
went down from the mountain to the      
people1 and sanctified          the     
people2 and they washed their clothes4  
#jai3jae ,he said to the people1 ,be    
ready by the third day4          ,don't 
have sexual relations with a woman4     
#jai3jaf ,it happened on the third day1 
when it was morning1          that there
 were thunders and lightnings1 and a    
thick cloud          on the mountain1   
and the sound of an exceedingly loud    
trumpet2          and all the people who
 were in the camp trembled4  #jai3jag   
,moses led the people out of the camp to
 meet ,god2 and they          stood at  

the lower part of the mountain4         
#jai3jah ,mount ,sinai1 the whole of it1
 smoked1 because ,yahweh descended      
on it in fire2 and its smoke ascended   
like the smoke of a furnace1            
and the whole mountain quaked greatly4  
#jai3jai ,when the sound of the trumpet 
grew louder and louder1 ,moses spoke1   
and ,god answered him by a voice4       
#jai3jbj ,yahweh came down on ,mount    
,sinai1 to the top of the mountain4     
,yahweh called ,moses to the top of the 
mountain1 and ,moses went up4  #jai3jba 
,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,go down1 charge
 the people1 lest they          break   
through to ,yahweh to gaze1 and many of 
them perish4  #jai3jbb ,let the priests 
also1 who come near to ,yahweh1 sanctify
 themselves1          lest ,yahweh break
 forth on them4  #jai3jbc ,moses said to
 ,yahweh1 ,the people can't come up to  
,mount ,sinai1          for you charged 
us1 saying1 ',set bounds around the     
mountain1          and sanctify it4'

and you shall bring ,aaron up with you1 
but don't let the priests and the people
 break through to come          up to   
,yahweh1 lest he break forth on them4   
#jai3jbe ,so ,moses went down to the

 to them1 nor serve them1          for  
,i1 ,yahweh your ,god1 am a jealous     
,god1 visiting the iniquity          of 

the fathers on the children1 on the     
third and on the fourth                 
generation of those who hate me1        
#jbj3jjf and showing loving kindness to 
thousands of those who love me          
and keep my commandments4  #jbj3jjg ,you
 shall not take the name of ,yahweh your
 ,god in vain1          for ,yahweh will
 not hold him guiltless who takes his   
name in vain4  #jbj3jjh ,remember the   
,sabbath day1 to keep it holy4  #jbj3jji
 ,you shall labor six days1 and do all  
your work1  #jbj3jaj but the seventh day
 is a ,sabbath to ,yahweh your ,god4    
,you shall not do any work in it1 you1  
nor your son1          nor your         
daughter1 your male servant1 nor your   
female servant1          nor your       
livestock1 nor your stranger who is     
within your gates2  #jbj3jaa for in six 
days ,yahweh made heaven and earth1 the 
sea1          and all that is in them1  
and rested the seventh day2             
therefore ,yahweh blessed the ,sabbath  
day1 and made it holy4  #jbj3jab ,honor 

your father and your mother1 that your  
days may be long          in the land   
which ,yahweh your ,god gives you4

thunderings1 the lightnings1            
the sound of the trumpet1 and the       
mountain smoking4          ,when the    
people saw it1 they trembled1 and stayed

,moses1 ,speak with us yourself1 and we 
will listen2          but don't let ,god
 speak with us1 lest we die4  #jbj3jbj  
,moses said to the people1 ,don't be    
afraid1 for ,god has          come to   

test you1 and that his fear may be      
before you1          that you won't sin4

distance1 and ,moses drew near to the   
thick          darkness where ,god was4 
#jbj3jbb ,yahweh said to ,moses1 ,this  
is what you shall tell the children     
of ,israel3  ',you yourselves have seen 
that ,i have talked          with you   
from heaven4  #jbj3jbc ,you shall most  
certainly not make alongside of me gods 
of silver1          or gods of gold for 
yourselves4  #jbj3jbd ,you shall make an
 altar of earth for me1 and shall       
sacrifice          on it your burnt     
offerings and your peace offerings1     
your sheep and your oxen4  ,in every    
place where ,i record          my name  
,i will come to you and ,i will bless   
you4  #jbj3jbe ,if you make me an altar 
of stone1 you shall not build           
it of hewn stones2 for if you lift up   
your tool on it1          you have      
polluted it4  #jbj3jbf ,neither shall   
you go up by steps to my altar1 that    

your nakedness          may not be      
exposed to it4'  #jba3jja ,now these are
 the ordinances which you shall set     
before them4  #jba3jjb ,if you buy a    
,hebrew servant1 he shall serve six     
years and in          the seventh he    
shall go out free without paying        
anything4  #jba3jjc ,if he comes in by  
himself1 he shall go out by himself4    
,if he is married1 then his wife shall  
go out with him4  #jba3jjd ,if his      
master gives him a wife and she bears   
him sons or daughters1          the wife
 and her children shall be her master's1
 and he shall          go out by        
himself4  #jba3jje ,but if the servant  
shall plainly say1 ',i love my master1  
my wife1 and my children4  ,i will not  
go out free2'  #jba3jjf then his master 
shall bring him to ,god1 and shall bring
 him          to the door or to the     
doorpost1 and his master shall bore     
his ear through with an awl1 and he     
shall serve him for ever4  #jba3jjg ,if 
a man sells his daughter to be a female 

servant1 she shall          not go out  
as the male servants do4  #jba3jjh ,if  
she doesn't please her master1 who has  
married          her to himself1 then he
 shall let her be redeemed4          ,he
 shall have no right to sell her to a   
foreign people1          seeing he has  
dealt deceitfully with her4  #jba3jji   
,if he marries her to his son1 he shall 
deal with her after          the manner 
of daughters4  #jba3jaj ,if he takes    
another wife to himself1 he shall not   
diminish          her food1 her         
clothing1 and her marital rights4       
#jba3jaa ,if he doesn't do these three  
things for her1 she may go free         
without paying any money4  #jba3jab ,one
 who strikes a man so that he dies shall
 surely be          put to death1       
#jba3jac but not if it is unintentional1
 but ,god allows it to happen3          
then ,i will appoint you a place where  
he shall flee4  #jba3jad ,if a man      
schemes and comes presumptuously on his 
neighbor          to kill him1 you shall

 take him from my altar1 that he may    
die4  #jba3jae ,anyone who attacks his  
father or his mother shall be surely    
put to death4  #jba3jaf ,anyone who     
kidnaps someone and sells him1 or if he 
is found          in his hand1 he shall 
surely be put to death4  #jba3jag       
,anyone who curses his father or his    
mother shall surely          be put to  
death4  #jba3jah ,if men quarrel and one
 strikes the other with a stone1        
or with his fist1 and he doesn't die1   
but is confined to bed2  #jba3jai if he 
rises again and walks around with his   
staff1          then he who struck him  
shall be cleared3  only he shall pay    
for the loss of his time1 and shall     
provide for his healing          until  
he is thoroughly healed4  #jba3jbj ,if a
 man strikes his servant or his maid    
with a rod1          and he dies under  
his hand1 he shall surely be punished4  
#jba3jba ,notwithstanding1 if he gets up
 after a day or two1 he shall           
not be punished1 for he is his property4

  #jba3jbb ,if men fight and hurt a     
pregnant woman so that she gives        
birth prematurely1 and yet no harm      
follows1 he shall be surely             
fined as much as the woman's husband    
demands and the judges allow4  #jba3jbc 
,but if any harm follows1 then you must 
take life for life1  #jba3jbd eye for   
eye1 tooth for tooth1 hand for hand1    
foot for foot1  #jba3jbe burning for    
burning1 wound for wound1 and bruise for
 bruise4  #jba3jbf ,if a man strikes his
 servant's eye1 or his maid's eye1      
and destroys it1 he shall let him go    
free for his eye's sake4  #jba3jbg ,if  
he strikes out his male servant's tooth1
 or his female          servant's tooth1
 he shall let him go free for his       
tooth's sake4  #jba3jbh ,if a bull gores
 a man or a woman to death1 the bull    
shall          surely be stoned1 and its
 flesh shall not be eaten2          but 
the owner of the bull shall not be held 
responsible4  #jba3jbi ,but if the bull 
had a habit of goring in the past1 and  

it          has been testified to its   
owner1 and he has not kept it in1       
but it has killed a man or a woman1 the 
bull shall be stoned1          and its  
owner shall also be put to death4       
#jba3jcj ,if a ransom is laid on him1   
then he shall give for the redemption   
of his life whatever is laid on him4    
#jba3jca ,whether it has gored a son or 
has gored a daughter1          according
 to this judgment it shall be done to   
him4  #jba3jcb ,if the bull gores a male
 servant or a female servant1           
thirty shekels of silver shall be given 
to their master1          and the ox    
shall be stoned4  #jba3jcc ,if a man    
opens a pit1 or if a man digs a pit and 
doesn't cover it1          and a bull or
 a donkey falls into it1  #jba3jcd the  
owner of the pit shall make it good4    
,he shall give money          to its    
owner1 and the dead animal shall be his4

his animal loose1 and it grazes in

make restitution from the best of his   
own field1          and from the best of

breaks out1 and catches in thorns so    
that the shocks          of grain1 or   
the standing grain1 or the field are    
consumed2          he who kindled the   
fire shall surely make restitution4

and it is stolen out of the man's house2
 if the thief is found1          he

make an ark of acacia wood4  ,its length
 shall          be two and a half       
cubits1 its breadth a cubit and a half1 
and a cubit and a half its height4      
#jbe3jaa ,you shall overlay it with pure
 gold4  ,inside and outside shall       
you overlay it1 and shall make a gold   
molding around it4  #jbe3jab ,you shall 
cast four rings of gold for it1 and put 
them          in its four feet4  ,two   
rings shall be on the one side of it1   
and two rings on the other side of it4  
#jbe3jac ,you shall make poles of acacia
 wood1 and overlay them with gold4      
#jbe3jad ,you shall put the poles into  
the rings on the sides of the ark       
to carry the ark4  #jbe3jae ,the poles  
shall be in the rings of the ark4  ,they
 shall not          be taken from it4   
#jbe3jaf ,you shall put the testimony   
which ,i shall give you into the ark4   
#jbe3jag ,you shall make a mercy seat of
 pure gold4  ,two and a half cubits     
shall be its length1 and a cubit and a  
half its breadth4  #jbe3jah ,you shall  

make two cherubim of hammered gold4     
,you shall make          them at the two
 ends of the mercy seat4  #jbe3jai ,make
 one cherub at the one end1 and one     
cherub at the other end4          ,you  
shall make the cherubim on its two ends 
of one piece          with the mercy    
seat4  #jbe3jbj ,the cherubim shall     
spread out their wings upward1 covering 
the mercy          seat with their      
wings1 with their faces toward one      
another4          ,the faces of the     
cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat4
  #jbe3jba ,you shall put the mercy seat
 on top of the ark1 and in the ark      
you shall put the testimony that ,i will
 give you4  #jbe3jbb ,there ,i will meet
 with you1 and ,i will tell you from    
above          the mercy seat1 from     
between the two cherubim which are      
on the ark of the testimony1 all that ,i
 command you for          the children  
of ,israel4  #jbe3jbc ,you shall make a 
table of acacia wood4  ,two cubits shall
          be its length1 and a cubit its

 breadth1 and one and a half            
cubits its height4  #jbe3jbd ,you shall 
overlay it with pure gold1 and make a   
gold          molding around it4        
#jbe3jbe ,you shall make a rim of a     
handbreadth around it4          ,you    
shall make a golden molding on its rim  
around it4  #jbe3jbf ,you shall make    
four rings of gold for it1 and put the  
rings          in the four corners that 
are on its four feet4  #jbe3jbg the     
rings shall be close to the rim1 for    
places for the poles          to carry  
the table4  #jbe3jbh ,you shall make the
 poles of acacia wood1 and overlay them 
with gold1 that the table may be carried
 with them4  #jbe3jbi ,you shall make   
its dishes1 its spoons1 its ladles1 and 
its bowls          to pour out offerings
 with4  ,of pure gold shall you make    
them4  #jbe3jcj ,you shall set bread of 
the presence on the table before me     
always4  #jbe3jca ,you shall make a     
lampstand of pure gold4  ,of hammered   
work shall          the lampstand be    

made1 even its base1 its shaft1 its     
cups1          its buds1 and its        
flowers1 shall be of one piece with it4 
#jbe3jcb ,there shall be six branches   
going out of its sides3          three  
branches of the lampstand out of its one
 side1          and three branches of   
the lampstand out of its other side2    
#jbe3jcc three cups made like almond    
blossoms in one branch1 a bud           
and a flower2 and three cups made like  
almond blossoms in          the other   
branch1 a bud and a flower1 so for the  
six branches          going out of the  
lampstand2  #jbe3jcd and in the         
lampstand four cups made like almond    
blossoms1          its buds and its     
flowers2  #jbe3jce and a bud under two  
branches of one piece with it1 and a bud
          under two branches of one     
piece with it1 and a bud under two      
branches of one piece with it1 for the  
six branches going          out of the  
lampstand4  #jbe3jcf ,their buds and    
their branches shall be of one piece    

with it1          the whole of it one   
beaten work of pure gold4  #jbe3jcg ,you
 shall make its lamps seven1 and they   
shall light its lamps          to give  
light to the space in front of it4      
#jbe3jch ,its snuffers and its snuff    
dishes shall be of pure gold4  #jbe3jci 
,it shall be made of a talent of pure   
gold1 with all          these           
accessories4  #jbe3jdj ,see that you    
make them after their pattern1 which has
 been          shown to you on the      
mountain4  #jbf3jja ,moreover you shall 
make the tent with ten curtains2 of fine
          twined linen1 and blue1 and   
purple1 and scarlet1 with cherubim4     
,the work of the skillful workman you   
shall make them4  #jbf3jjb ,the length  
of each curtain shall be twenty-eight   
cubits1          and the breadth of each
 curtain four cubits3  all the curtains 
shall have one measure4  #jbf3jjc ,five 
curtains shall be coupled together one  
to another2          and the other five 
curtains shall be coupled one to        

another4  #jbf3jjd ,you shall make loops
 of blue on the edge of the one curtain 
from the edge in the coupling2 and      
likewise shall you make in          the 
edge of the curtain that is outmost in  
the second coupling4  #jbf3jje ,you     
shall make fifty loops in the one       
curtain1 and you shall          make    
fifty loops in the edge of the curtain  
that is in the          second coupling4
  ,the loops shall be opposite one to   
another4  #jbf3jjf ,you shall make fifty
 clasps of gold1 and couple the curtains
          one to another with the       
clasps3  and the tent shall be a unit4  
#jbf3jjg ,you shall make curtains of    
goats' hair for a covering over the     
tent3          eleven curtains shall you
 make them4  #jbf3jjh ,the length of    
each curtain shall be thirty cubits1 and
 the breadth          of each curtain   
four cubits3  the eleven curtains shall 
have one measure4  #jbf3jji ,you shall  
couple five curtains by themselves1 and 
six curtains          by themselves1 and

 shall double over the sixth curtain    
in the forefront of the tent4  #jbf3jaj 
,you shall make fifty loops on the edge 
of the one curtain          that is     
outmost in the coupling1 and fifty loops
 on the edge          of the curtain    
which is outmost in the second coupling4
  #jbf3jaa ,you shall make fifty clasps 
of brass1 and put the clasps into       
the loops1 and couple the tent together1
 that it may be one4  #jbf3jab ,the     
overhanging part that remains of the    
curtains of the tent1          the half 
curtain that remains1 shall hang over   
the back          of the tent4  #jbf3jac
 ,the cubit on the one side1 and the    
cubit on the other side1          of    
that which remains in the length of the 
curtains of the tent1          shall    
hang over the sides of the tent on this 
side and on          that side1 to cover
 it4  #jbf3jad ,you shall make a        
covering for the tent of rams' skins    
dyed red1          and a covering of sea
 cow hides above4  #jbf3jae ,you shall  

make the boards for the tent of acacia  
wood1 standing up4  #jbf3jaf ,ten cubits
 shall be the length of a board1 and one
 and a half          cubits the breadth 
of each board4  #jbf3jag ,there shall be
 two tenons in each board1 joined to one
 another3          thus shall you make  
for all the boards of the tent4         
#jbf3jah ,you shall make the boards for 
the tent1 twenty boards for          the
 south side southward4  #jbf3jai ,you   
shall make forty sockets of silver under
 the twenty boards2          two sockets
 under one board for its two tenons1 and
 two sockets          under another     
board for its two tenons4  #jbf3jbj ,for
 the second side of the tent1 on the    
north side1 twenty boards1  #jbf3jba and
 their forty sockets of silver2 two     
sockets under one board1          and   
two sockets under another board4        
#jbf3jbb ,for the far part of the tent  
westward you shall make six boards4     
#jbf3jbc ,two boards shall you make for 
the corners of the tent in          the 

far part4  #jbf3jbd ,they shall be      
double beneath1 and in like manner they 
shall be entire          to the top of  
it to one ring3  thus shall it be for   
them both2          they shall be for   
the two corners4  #jbf3jbe ,there shall 
be eight boards1 and their sockets of   
silver1          sixteen sockets2 two   
sockets under one board1 and two sockets
          under another board4  #jbf3jbf
 ,you shall make bars of acacia wood3   
five for the boards          of the one 
side of the tent1  #jbf3jbg and five    
bars for the boards of the other side of
 the tent1          and five bars for   
the boards of the side of the tent1     
for the far part westward4  #jbf3jbh    
,the middle bar in the midst of the     
boards shall pass through          from 
end to end4  #jbf3jbi ,you shall overlay
 the boards with gold1 and make their   
rings          of gold for places for   
the bars3  and you shall overlay        
the bars with gold4  #jbf3jcj ,you shall
 set up the tent according to the way   

that it was shown          to you on the
 mountain4  #jbf3jca ,you shall make a  
veil of blue1 and purple1 and scarlet1  
and fine twined linen1 with cherubim4   
,the work of the skillful               
workman shall it be made4  #jbf3jcb ,you
 shall hang it on four pillars of acacia
 overlaid with gold2          their     
hooks shall be of gold1 on four sockets 
of silver4  #jbf3jcc ,you shall hang up 
the veil under the clasps1 and shall    
bring the ark of the testimony in there 
within the veil3          and the veil  
shall separate the holy place from the  
most          holy for you4  #jbf3jcd   
,you shall put the mercy seat on the ark
 of the testimony          in the most  
holy place4  #jbf3jce ,you shall set the
 table outside the veil1 and the        
lampstand over          against the     
table on the side of the tent toward the
 south3          and you shall put the  
table on the north side4  #jbf3jcf ,you 
shall make a screen for the door of the 
,tent1 of blue1          and purple1 and

 scarlet1 and fine twined linen1 the    
work          of the embroiderer4       
#jbf3jcg ,you shall make for the screen 
five pillars of acacia1          and    
overlay them with gold3  their hooks    
shall be of gold3          and you shall
 cast five sockets of brass for them4   
#jbg3jja ,you shall make the altar of   
acacia wood1 five cubits long1          
and five cubits broad2 the altar shall  
be foursquare3          and its height  
shall be three cubits4  #jbg3jjb ,you   
shall make its horns on its four        
corners2 its horns shall          be of 
one piece with it2 and you shall overlay
 it with brass4  #jbg3jjc ,you shall    
make its pots to take away its ashes1   
its shovels1          its basins1 its   
flesh hooks1 and its fire pans3         
all its vessels you shall make of brass4
  #jbg3jjd ,you shall make a grating for
 it of network of brass3          and on
 the net you shall make four bronze     
rings in its four corners4  #jbg3jje    
,you shall put it under the ledge around

 the altar beneath1          that the   
net may reach halfway up the altar4     
#jbg3jjf ,you shall make poles for the  
altar1 poles of acacia wood1            
and overlay them with brass4  #jbg3jjg  
,its poles shall be put into the rings1 
and the poles shall          be on the  
two sides of the altar1 when carrying   
it4  #jbg3jjh ,hollow with planks shall 
you make it3  as it has been shown      
you on the mountain1 so shall they make 
it4  #jbg3jji ,you shall make the court 
of the tent3  for the south side        
southward there shall be hangings for

edge1 which is toward          the side

straps of the ephod underneath1 in the  
forepart of it1          close by the   
coupling of it1 above the skillfully

breastplate by the rings of it to the   
rings          of the ephod with a lace 
of blue1 that it may be on the          
skillfully          woven band of the   
ephod1 and that the breastplate may not

breastplate of judgment on his heart1

of the ram of consecration1 even of that

as their portion forever          from

,israel          of the sacrifices of

 garments of ,aaron shall be for his    
sons after him1          to be anointed

is priest in his place put          them

ram of consecration1 and boil its flesh

 things with which atonement was made1  
to consecrate and sanctify them3  but a

anything of the flesh of the            
consecration1 or of the bread1          
remains to the morning1 then you shall  
burn the remainder with fire3           
it shall not be eaten1 because it is

atonement for it throughout your

for it is holy to you4                  
,everyone who profanes it shall surely

heard the noise of the people as they

,there is the noise of war in the camp4

of those who shout for victory1         
neither is it the voice of those who cry
 for being overcome2          but the   
noise of those who sing that ,i hear4

came near to the camp1 that he saw      

the calf and the dancing3  and ,moses'  
anger grew hot1          and he threw   
the tablets out of his hands1 and broke 
them          beneath the mountain4

had made1 and burnt it with fire1       
ground it to powder1 and scattered it on
 the water1 and made          the       
children of ,israel drink of it4

did these people do to you1

the anger of my lord grow hot4          
,you know the people1 that they are set

 ',make us gods1 which shall go before  
us2          for as for this ,moses1 the
 man who brought us up out of the land  
of ,egypt1 we don't know what has become

',whoever has any gold1 let them take it

and ,i threw it into the fire1

,moses saw that the people had broken   
loose1 7for ,aaron          had let them
 loose for a derision among their

 the gate of the camp1 and said1        
,whoever is          on ,yahweh's side1 
come to me6  ,all the sons of ,levi     
gathered          themselves together to
 him4  #jcb3jbg ,he said to them1 ,thus 
says ,yahweh1 the ,god of ,israel1      
',every man          put his sword on   
his thigh1 and go back and forth from   
gate          to gate throughout the    
camp1 and every man kill his brother1   
and every man his companion1 and every

of ,levi did according to the word of   
,moses3          and there fell of the  
people that day about three thousand

yourselves today to ,yahweh1 yes1 every

 the pillar          of cloud descended1
 stood at the door of the ,tent1

the people saw the pillar of cloud stand

all the people rose up and worshiped1

,yahweh spoke to ,moses face to face1 as

,nun1 a young man1 didn't depart out of

boards1          its bars1 its pillars1

its poles1 the mercy seat1 the veil of  
the screen2  #jce3jac the table with its
 poles and all its vessels1 and the show
 bread2  #jce3jad the lampstand also for
 the light1 with its vessels1 its lamps1
          and the oil for the light2    

#jce3jae and the altar of incense with  
its poles1 the anointing oil1           
the sweet incense1 the screen for the   
door1 at the door          of the tent2 
#jce3jaf the altar of burnt offering1   
with its grating of brass1          it  
poles1 and all its vessels1 the basin   
and its base2  #jce3jag the hangings of 
the court1 its pillars1 their sockets1  
and the screen for the gate of the      
court2  #jce3jah the pins of the tent1  
the pins of the court1 and their cords2 
#jce3jai the finely worked garments1 for
 ministering in the holy place1         
the holy garments for ,aaron the priest1
 and the garments          of his sons1 
to minister in the priest's office4'    
#jce3jbj ,all the congregation of the   
children of ,israel departed from       
the presence of ,moses4  #jce3jba ,they 
came1 everyone whose heart stirred him  
up1 and everyone          whom his      
spirit made willing1 and brought        
,yahweh's offering1          for the    
work of the tent of meeting1 and for all

 of its service1          and for the   
holy garments4  #jce3jbb ,they came1    
both men and women1 as many as were     
willing-hearted1          and brought   
brooches1 earrings1 signet rings1 and   
armlets1          all jewels of gold2   
even every man who offered an offering  
of gold to ,yahweh4  #jce3jbc ,everyone1
 with whom was found blue1 purple1      
scarlet1          fine linen1 goats'    
hair1 rams' skins dyed red1 and sea     
cow hides1 brought them4  #jce3jbd      
,everyone who did offer an offering of  
silver and brass brought                
,yahweh's offering2 and everyone1 with  
whom was found acacia          wood for 
any work of the service1 brought it4    
#jce3jbe ,all the women who were        
wise-hearted spun with their hands1     
and brought that which they had spun1   
the blue1 the purple1          the      
scarlet1 and the fine linen4  #jce3jbf  
,all the women whose heart stirred them 
up in wisdom spun          the goats'   
hair4  #jce3jbg ,the rulers brought the 

onyx stones1 and the stones to be set1  
for the ephod and for the breastplate2  
#jce3jbh and the spice1 and the oil for 
the light1 for the anointing oil1       
and for the sweet incense4  #jce3jbi    
,the children of ,israel brought a      
freewill offering to ,yahweh2           
every man and woman1 whose heart made   
them willing to bring          for all  
the work1 which ,yahweh had commanded to
 be made by ,moses4  #jce3jcj ,moses    
said to the children of ,israel1        
,behold1 ,yahweh has          called by 
name ,bezalel the son of ,uri1 the son  
of ,hur1          of the tribe of       
,judah4  #jce3jca ,he has filled him    
with the ,spirit of ,god1 in wisdom1    
in understanding1 in knowledge1 and in  
all manner of workmanship2  #jce3jcb and
 to make skillful works1 to work in     
gold1 in silver1 in brass1  #jce3jcc in 
cutting of stones for setting1 and in   
carving of wood1          to work in all
 kinds of skillful workmanship4         
#jce3jcd ,he has put in his heart that  

he may teach1 both he1 and ,oholiab1    
the son of ,ahisamach1 of the tribe of  
,dan4  #jce3jce ,he has filled them with
 wisdom of heart1 to work all manner    
of workmanship1 of the engraver1 of the 
skillful workman1          and of the   
embroiderer1 in blue1 in purple1 in     
scarlet1          and in fine linen1 and
 of the weaver1 even of those who do    
any workmanship1 and of those who make  
skillful works4  #jcf3jja ,bezalel and  
,oholiab shall work with every          
wise-hearted man1          in whom      
,yahweh has put wisdom and understanding
 to know          how to work all the   
work for the service of the sanctuary1  
according to all that ,yahweh has       
commanded4  #jcf3jjb ,moses called      
,bezalel and ,oholiab1 and every        
wise-hearted man1          in whose     
heart ,yahweh had put wisdom1 even      
everyone whose          heart stirred   
him up to come to the work to do it3    
#jcf3jjc and they received from ,moses  
all the offering which the children     

of ,israel had brought for the work of  
the service of the sanctuary1           
with which to make it4  ,they brought   
yet to him freewill          offerings  
every morning4  #jcf3jjd ,all the wise  
men1 who performed all the work of the  
sanctuary1          each came from his  
work which they did4  #jcf3jje ,they    
spoke to ,moses1 saying1 ,the people    
bring much more than enough          for
 the service of the work which ,yahweh  
commanded to make4  #jcf3jjf ,moses gave
 commandment1 and they caused it to be  
proclaimed          throughout the camp1
 saying1 ,let neither man nor woman     
make anything else for the offering for 
the sanctuary4          ,so the people  
were restrained from bringing4  #jcf3jjg
 ,for the stuff they had was sufficient 
for all the work to make it1            
and too much4  #jcf3jjh ,all the        
wise-hearted men among those who did the
 work made          the tent with ten   
curtains2 of fine twined linen1 blue1   
purple1          and scarlet1 with      

cherubim1 the work of the skillful      
workman1          they made them4       
#jcf3jji ,the length of each curtain was
 twenty-eight cubits1          and the  
breadth of each curtain four cubits4    
,all the curtains          had one      
measure4  #jcf3jaj ,he coupled five     
curtains to one another1 and the other  
five          curtains he coupled one to
 another4  #jcf3jaa ,he made loops of   
blue on the edge of the one curtain from
          the edge in the coupling4     
,likewise he made in the edge           
of the curtain that was outmost in the  
second coupling4  #jcf3jab ,he made     
fifty loops in the one curtain1 and he  
made fifty loops          in the edge of
 the curtain that was in the second     
coupling4          ,the loops were      
opposite one to another4  #jcf3jac ,he

bring in the table1 and set in order the
 things          that are on it4  ,you  
shall bring in the lampstand1 and light

set the golden altar for incense before 
the ark          of the testimony1 and  
put the screen of the door to the tent4

the altar3  and the altar will be most

of meeting1 and shall wash them with

anoint him1 and sanctify him1 that he   
may minister to me          in the

bring his sons1 and put coats on them4

anointed their father1          that    
they may minister to me in the priest's 
office4          ,their anointing shall 
be to them for an everlasting priesthood

 first month in the second year1 on the

of it1 and put in the bars of it1 and

the tent1 and put the roof          of  
the tent above on it1 as ,yahweh        
commanded ,moses4  #jdj3jbj ,he took and
 put the testimony into the ark1 and set
 the poles          on the ark1 and put 
the mercy seat above on the ark4        
#jdj3jba ,he brought the ark into the   
tent1 and set up the veil          of   
the screen1 and screened the ark of the 
testimony1          as ,yahweh commanded
 ,moses4  #jdj3jbb ,he put the table in 
the tent of meeting1 on the side of     
the tent northward1 outside of the veil4
  #jdj3jbc ,he set the bread in order on
 it before ,yahweh1          as ,yahweh 
commanded ,moses4  #jdj3jbd ,he put the 
lampstand in the tent of meeting1       
opposite the table1          on the side
 of the tent southward4  #jdj3jbe ,he   

lit the lamps before ,yahweh1 as ,yahweh
 commanded ,moses4  #jdj3jbf ,he put the
 golden altar in the tent of meeting    
before the veil2  #jdj3jbg and he burnt 
incense of sweet spices on it1 as       
,yahweh          commanded ,moses4      
#jdj3jbh ,he put up the screen of the   
door to the tent4  #jdj3jbi ,he set the 
altar of burnt offering at the door of  
the tent          of the tent of        
meeting1 and offered on it the burnt    
offering          and the meal offering1
 as ,yahweh commanded ,moses4  #jdj3jcj 
,he set the basin between the tent of   
meeting and the altar1          and put 
water therein1 with which to wash4      
#jdj3jca ,moses1 ,aaron1 and his sons   
washed their hands and their feet there4
  #jdj3jcb ,when they went into the tent
 of meeting1 and when they came         
near to the altar1 they washed1 as      
,yahweh commanded ,moses4  #jdj3jcc ,he 
raised up the court around the tent and 
the altar1          and set up the      
screen of the gate of the court4        

,so ,moses finished the work4  #jdj3jcd 
,then the cloud covered the tent of     
meeting1 and the glory          of      
,yahweh filled the tent4  #jdj3jce      
,moses wasn't able to enter into the    
tent of meeting1 because the            
cloud stayed on it1 and ,yahweh's glory 
filled the tent4  #jdj3jcf ,when the    
cloud was taken up from over the tent1  
the children          of ,israel went   
onward1 throughout all their journeys2  
#jdj3jcg but if the cloud wasn't taken  
up1 then they didn't travel             
until the day that it was taken up4     
#jdj3jch ,for the cloud of ,yahweh was  
on the tent by day1 and there was fire  
in the cloud by night1 in the sight of  
all the house of ,israel1               
throughout all their journeys4
