,this e,book was produced by ,david ,widger with the help of ,derek ,andrew's text from ,january #aiib and the work of ,bryan ,taylor in ,november #bjjb4 ,book #db ,luke #db3jja3jja ,forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us1 #db3jja3jjb ,even as they delivered them unto us1 which from the beginning were eyewitnesses1 and ministers of the word2 #db3jja3jjc ,it seemed good to me also1 having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first1 to write unto thee in order1 most excellent ,theophilus1 #db3jja3jjd ,that thou mightest know the certainty of those things1 wherein thou hast been instructed4 #db3jja3jje ,,there was in the days of ,herod1 the king of ,judaea1 a certain priest named ,zacharias1 of the course of ,abia3 and his wife was of the daughters of ,aaron1 and her name was ,elisabeth4 #db3jja3jjf ,and they were both righteous before ,god1 walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the ,lord blameless4 #db3jja3jjg ,and they had no child1 because that ,elisabeth was barren1 and they both were now well stricken in years4 #db3jja3jjh ,and it came to pass1 that while he executed the priest's office before ,god in the order of his course1 #db3jja3jji ,according to the custom of the priest's office1 his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the ,lord4 #db3jja3jaj ,and the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense4 #db3jja3jaa ,and there appeared unto him an angel of the ,lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense4 #db3jja3jab ,and when ,zacharias saw him1 he was troubled1 and fear fell upon him4 #db3jja3jac ,but the angel said unto him1 ,fear not1 ,zacharias3 for thy prayer is heard2 and thy wife ,elisabeth shall bear thee a son1 and thou shalt call his name ,john4 #db3jja3jad ,and thou shalt have joy and gladness2 and many shall rejoice at his birth4 #db3jja3jae ,for he shall be great in the sight of the ,lord1 and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink2 and he shall be filled with the ,holy ,ghost1 even from his mother's womb4 #db3jja3jaf ,and many of the children of ,israel shall he turn to the ,lord their ,god4 #db3jja3jag ,and he shall go before him in the spirit and power of ,elias1 to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children1 and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just2 to make ready a people prepared for the ,lord4 #db3jja3jah ,and ,zacharias said unto the angel1 ,whereby shall ,i know this8 for ,i am an old man1 and my wife well stricken in years4 #db3jja3jai ,and the angel answering said unto him1 ,i am ,gabriel1 that stand in the presence of ,god2 and am sent to speak unto thee1 and to shew thee these glad tidings4 #db3jja3jbj ,and1 behold1 thou shalt be dumb1 and not able to speak1 until the day that these things shall be performed1 because thou believest not my words1 which shall be fulfilled in their season4 #db3jja3jba ,and the people waited for ,zacharias1 and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple4 #db3jja3jbb ,and when he came out1 he could not speak unto them3 and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple3 for he beckoned unto them1 and remained speechless4 #db3jja3jbc ,and it came to pass1 that1 as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished1 he departed to his own house4 #db3jja3jbd ,and after those days his wife ,elisabeth conceived1 and hid herself five months1 saying1 #db3jja3jbe ,thus hath the ,lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me1 to take away my reproach among men4 #db3jja3jbf ,and in the sixth month the angel ,gabriel was sent from ,god unto a city of ,galilee1 named ,nazareth1 #db3jja3jbg ,to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was ,joseph1 of the house of ,david2 and the virgin's name was ,mary4 #db3jja3jbh ,and the angel came in unto her1 and said1 ,hail1 thou that art highly favoured1 the ,lord is with thee3 blessed art thou among women4 #db3jja3jbi ,and when she saw him1 she was troubled at his saying1 and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be4 #db3jja3jcj ,and the angel said unto her1 ,fear not1 ,mary3 for thou hast found favour with ,god4 #db3jja3jca ,and1 behold1 thou shalt conceive in thy womb1 and bring forth a son1 and shalt call his name ,,jesus4 #db3jja3jcb ,he shall be great1 and shall be called the ,son of the ,highest3 and the ,lord ,god shall give unto him the throne of his father ,david3 #db3jja3jcc ,and he shall reign over the house of ,jacob for ever2 and of his kingdom there shall be no end4 #db3jja3jcd ,then said ,mary unto the angel1 ,how shall this be1 seeing ,i know not a man8 #db3jja3jce ,and the angel answered and said unto her1 ,the ,holy ,ghost shall come upon thee1 and the power of the ,highest shall overshadow thee3 therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the ,son of ,god4 #db3jja3jcf ,and1 behold1 thy cousin ,elisabeth1 she hath also conceived a son in her old age3 and this is the sixth month with her1 who was called barren4 #db3jja3jcg ,for with ,god nothing shall be impossible4 #db3jja3jch ,and ,mary said1 ,behold the handmaid of the ,lord2 be it unto me according to thy word4 ,and the angel departed from her4 #db3jja3jci ,and ,mary arose in those days1 and went into the hill country with haste1 into a city of ,juda2 #db3jja3jdj ,and entered into the house of ,zacharias1 and saluted ,elisabeth4 #db3jja3jda ,and it came to pass1 that1 when ,elisabeth heard the salutation of ,mary1 the babe leaped in her womb2 and ,elisabeth was filled with the ,holy ,ghost3 #db3jja3jdb ,and she spake out with a loud voice1 and said1 ,blessed art thou among women1 and blessed is the fruit of thy womb4 #db3jja3jdc ,and whence is this to me1 that the mother of my ,lord should come to me8 #db3jja3jdd ,for1 lo1 as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears1 the babe leaped in my womb for joy4 #db3jja3jde ,and blessed is she that believed3 for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the ,lord4 #db3jja3jdf ,and ,mary said1 ,my soul doth magnify the ,lord1 #db3jja3jdg ,and my spirit hath rejoiced in ,god my ,saviour4 #db3jja3jdh ,for he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden3 for1 behold1 from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed4 #db3jja3jdi ,for he that is mighty hath done to me great things2 and holy is his name4 #db3jja3jej ,and his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation4 #db3jja3jea ,he hath shewed strength with his arm2 he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts4 #db3jja3jeb ,he hath put down the mighty from their seats1 and exalted them of low degree4 #db3jja3jec ,he hath filled the hungry with good things2 and the rich he hath sent empty away4 #db3jja3jed ,he hath holpen his servant ,israel1 in remembrance of his mercy2 #db3jja3jee ,as he spake to our fathers1 to ,abraham1 and to his seed for ever4 #db3jja3jef ,and ,mary abode with her about three months1 and returned to her own house4 #db3jja3jeg ,now ,elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered2 and she brought forth a son4 #db3jja3jeh ,and her neighbours and her cousins heard how the ,lord had shewed great mercy upon her2 and they rejoiced with her4 #db3jja3jei ,and it came to pass1 that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child2 and they called him ,zacharias1 after the name of his father4 #db3jja3jfj ,and his mother answered and said1 ,not so2 but he shall be called ,john4 #db3jja3jfa ,and they said unto her1 ,there is none of thy kindred that is called by this name4 #db3jja3jfb ,and they made signs to his father1 how he would have him called4 #db3jja3jfc ,and he asked for a writing table1 and wrote1 saying1 ,his name is ,john4 ,and they marvelled all4 #db3jja3jfd ,and his mouth was opened immediately1 and his tongue loosed1 and he spake1 and praised ,god4 #db3jja3jfe ,and fear came on all that dwelt round about them3 and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of ,judaea4 #db3jja3jff ,and all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts1 saying1 ,what manner of child shall this be6 ,and the hand of the ,lord was with him4 #db3jja3jfg ,and his father ,zacharias was filled with the ,holy ,ghost1 and prophesied1 saying1 #db3jja3jfh ,blessed be the ,lord ,god of ,israel2 for he hath visited and redeemed his people1 #db3jja3jfi ,and hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant ,david2 #db3jja3jgj ,as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets1 which have been since the world began3 #db3jja3jga ,that we should be saved from our enemies1 and from the hand of all that hate us2 #db3jja3jgb ,to perform the mercy promised to our fathers1 and to remember his holy covenant2 #db3jja3jgc ,the oath which he sware to our father ,abraham1 #db3jja3jgd ,that he would grant unto us1 that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear1 #db3jja3jge ,in holiness and righteousness before him1 all the days of our life4 #db3jja3jgf ,and thou1 child1 shalt be called the prophet of the ,highest3 for thou shalt go before the face of the ,lord to prepare his ways2 #db3jja3jgg ,to give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins1 #db3jja3jgh ,through the tender mercy of our ,god2 whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us1 #db3jja3jgi ,to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death1 to guide our feet into the way of peace4 #db3jja3jhj ,and the child grew1 and waxed strong in spirit1 and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto ,israel4 #db3jjb3jja ,and it came to pass in those days1 that there went out a decree from ,caesar ,augustus that all the world should be taxed4 #db3jjb3jjb 7,and this taxing was first made when ,cyrenius was governor of ,syria47 #db3jjb3jjc ,and all went to be taxed1 every one into his own city4 #db3jjb3jjd ,and ,joseph also went up from ,galilee1 out of the city of ,nazareth1 into ,judaea1 unto the city of ,david1 which is called ,bethlehem2 7because he was of the house and lineage of ,david37 #db3jjb3jje ,to be taxed with ,mary his espoused wife1 being great with child4 #db3jjb3jjf ,and so it was1 that1 while they were there1 the days were accomplished that she should be delivered4 #db3jjb3jjg ,and she brought forth her firstborn son1 and wrapped him in swaddling clothes1 and laid him in a manger2 because there was no room for them in the inn4 #db3jjb3jjh ,and there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field1 keeping watch over their flock by night4 #db3jjb3jji ,and1 lo1 the angel of the ,lord came upon them1 and the glory of the ,lord shone round about them3 and they were sore afraid4 #db3jjb3jaj ,and the angel said unto them1 ,fear not3 for1 behold1 ,i bring you good tidings of great joy1 which shall be to all people4 #db3jjb3jaa ,for unto you is born this day in the city of ,david a ,saviour1 which is ,christ the ,lord4 #db3jjb3jab ,and this shall be a sign unto you2 ,ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes1 lying in a manger4 #db3jjb3jac ,and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising ,god1 and saying1 #db3jjb3jad ,glory to ,god in the highest1 and on earth peace1 good will toward men4 #db3jjb3jae ,and it came to pass1 as the angels were gone away from them into heaven1 the shepherds said one to another1 ,let us now go even unto ,bethlehem1 and see this thing which is come to pass1 which the ,lord hath made known unto us4 #db3jjb3jaf ,and they came with haste1 and found ,mary1 and ,joseph1 and the babe lying in a manger4 #db3jjb3jag ,and when they had seen it1 they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child4 #db3jjb3jah ,and all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds4 #db3jjb3jai ,but ,mary kept all these things1 and pondered them in her heart4 #db3jjb3jbj ,and the shepherds returned1 glorifying and praising ,god for all the things that they had heard and seen1 as it was told unto them4 #db3jjb3jba ,and when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child1 his name was called ,,jesus1 which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb4 #db3jjb3jbb ,and when the days of her purification according to the law of ,moses were accomplished1 they brought him to ,jerusalem1 to present him to the ,lord2 #db3jjb3jbc 7,as it is written in the law of the ,,lord1 ,every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the ,lord27 #db3jjb3jbd ,and to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the ,lord1 ,a pair of turtledoves1 or two young pigeons4 #db3jjb3jbe ,and1 behold1 there was a man in ,jerusalem1 whose name was ,simeon2 and the same man was just and devout1 waiting for the consolation of ,israel3 and the ,holy ,ghost was upon him4 #db3jjb3jbf ,and it was revealed unto him by the ,holy ,ghost1 that he should not see death1 before he had seen the ,lord's ,christ4 #db3jjb3jbg ,and he came by the ,spirit into the temple3 and when the parents brought in the child ,jesus1 to do for him after the custom of the law1 #db3jjb3jbh ,then took he him up in his arms1 and blessed ,god1 and said1 #db3jjb3jbi ,lord1 now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace1 according to thy word3 #db3jjb3jcj ,for mine eyes have seen thy salvation1 #db3jjb3jca ,which thou hast prepared before the face of all people2 #db3jjb3jcb ,a light to lighten the ,gentiles1 and the glory of thy people ,israel4 #db3jjb3jcc ,and ,joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him4 #db3jjb3jcd ,and ,simeon blessed them1 and said unto ,mary his mother1 ,behold1 this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in ,israel2 and for a sign which shall be spoken against2 #db3jjb3jce 7,yea1 a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also17 that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed4 #db3jjb3jcf ,and there was one ,anna1 a prophetess1 the daughter of ,phanuel1 of the tribe of ,aser3 she was of a great age1 and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity2 #db3jjb3jcg ,and she was a widow of about fourscore and four years1 which departed not from the temple1 but served ,god with fastings and prayers night and day4 #db3jjb3jch ,and she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the ,lord1 and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in ,jerusalem4 #db3jjb3jci ,and when they had performed all things according to the law of the ,lord1 they returned into ,galilee1 to their own city ,nazareth4 #db3jjb3jdj ,and the child grew1 and waxed strong in spirit1 filled with wisdom3 and the grace of ,god was upon him4 #db3jjb3jda ,now his parents went to ,jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover4 #db3jjb3jdb ,and when he was twelve years old1 they went up to ,jerusalem after the custom of the feast4 #db3jjb3jdc ,and when they had fulfilled the days1 as they returned1 the child ,jesus tarried behind in ,jerusalem2 and ,joseph and his mother knew not of it4 #db3jjb3jdd ,but they1 supposing him to have been in the company1 went a day's journey2 and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance4 #db3jjb3jde ,and when they found him not1 they turned back again to ,jerusalem1 seeking him4 #db3jjb3jdf ,and it came to pass1 that after three days they found him in the temple1 sitting in the midst of the doctors1 both hearing them1 and asking them questions4 #db3jjb3jdg ,and all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers4 #db3jjb3jdh ,and when they saw him1 they were amazed3 and his mother said unto him1 ,son1 why hast thou thus dealt with us8 behold1 thy father and ,i have sought thee sorrowing4 #db3jjb3jdi ,and he said unto them1 ,how is it that ye sought me8 wist ye not that ,i must be about my ,father's business8 #db3jjb3jej ,and they understood not the saying which he spake unto them4 #db3jjb3jea ,and he went down with them1 and came to ,nazareth1 and was subject unto them3 but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart4 #db3jjb3jeb ,and ,jesus increased in wisdom and stature1 and in favour with ,god and man4 #db3jjc3jja ,now in the fifteenth year of the reign of ,tiberius ,caesar1 ,pontius ,pilate being governor of ,judaea1 and ,herod being tetrarch of ,galilee1 and his brother ,philip tetrarch of ,ituraea and of the region of ,trachonitis1 and ,lysanias the tetrarch of ,abilene1 #db3jjc3jjb ,annas and ,caiaphas being the high priests1 the word of ,god came unto ,john the son of ,zacharias in the wilderness4 #db3jjc3jjc ,and he came into all the country about ,jordan1 preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins2 #db3jjc3jjd ,as it is written in the book of the words of ,esaias the prophet1 saying1 ,the voice of one crying in the wilderness1 ,prepare ye the way of the ,lord1 make his paths straight4 #db3jjc3jje ,every valley shall be filled1 and every mountain and hill shall be brought low2 and the crooked shall be made straight1 and the rough ways shall be made smooth2 #db3jjc3jjf ,and all flesh shall see the salvation of ,god4 #db3jjc3jjg ,then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him1 ,o generation of vipers1 who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come8 #db3jjc3jjh ,bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance1 and begin not to say within yourselves1 ,we have ,abraham to our father3 for ,i say unto you1 ,that ,god is able of these stones to raise up children unto ,abraham4 #db3jjc3jji ,and now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees3 every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down1 and cast into the fire4 #db3jjc3jaj ,and the people asked him1 saying1 ,what shall we do then8 #db3jjc3jaa ,he answereth and saith unto them1 ,he that hath two coats1 let him impart to him that hath none2 and he that hath meat1 let him do likewise4 #db3jjc3jab ,then came also publicans to be baptized1 and said unto him1 ,master1 what shall we do8 #db3jjc3jac ,and he said unto them1 ,exact no more than that which is appointed you4 #db3jjc3jad ,and the soldiers likewise demanded of him1 saying1 ,and what shall we do8 ,and he said unto them1 ,do violence to no man1 neither accuse any falsely2 and be content with your wages4 #db3jjc3jae ,and as the people were in expectation1 and all men mused in their hearts of ,john1 whether he were the ,christ1 or not2 #db3jjc3jaf ,john answered1 saying unto them all1 ,i indeed baptize you with water2 but one mightier than ,i cometh1 the latchet of whose shoes ,i am not worthy to unloose3 he shall baptize you with the ,holy ,ghost and with fire3 #db3jjc3jag ,whose fan is in his hand1 and he will throughly purge his floor1 and will gather the wheat into his garner2 but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable4 #db3jjc3jah ,and many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people4 #db3jjc3jai ,but ,herod the tetrarch1 being reproved by him for ,herodias his brother ,philip's wife1 and for all the evils which ,herod had done1 #db3jjc3jbj ,added yet this above all1 that he shut up ,john in prison4 #db3jjc3jba ,now when all the people were baptized1 it came to pass1 that ,jesus also being baptized1 and praying1 the heaven was opened1 #db3jjc3jbb ,and the ,holy ,ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him1 and a voice came from heaven1 which said1 ,thou art my beloved ,son2 in thee ,i am well pleased4 #db3jjc3jbc ,and ,jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age1 being 7as was supposed7 the son of ,joseph1 which was the son #db3jjc3jcj ,which was the son of ,simeon1 which was the son of ,juda1 which was the son of ,joseph1 which was the son of ,jonan1 which was the son of ,eliakim1 #db3jjc3jca ,which was the son of ,melea1 which was the son of ,menan1 which was the son of ,mattatha1 which was the son of ,nathan1 which was the son of ,david1 #db3jjc3jcb ,which was the son of ,jesse1 which was the son of ,obed1 which was the son of ,god4 #db3jjd3jja ,and ,jesus being full of the ,holy ,ghost returned from ,jordan1 and was led by the ,spirit into the wilderness1 #db3jjd3jjb ,being forty days tempted of the devil4 ,and in those days he did eat nothing3 and when they were ended1 he afterward hungered4 #db3jjd3jjc ,and the devil said unto him1 ,if thou be the ,son of ,god1 command this stone that it be made bread4 #db3jjd3jjd ,and ,jesus answered him1 saying1 ,it is written1 ,that man shall not live by bread alone1 but by every word of ,god4 #db3jjd3jje ,and the devil1 taking him up into an high mountain1 shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time4 #db3jjd3jjf ,and the devil said unto him1 ,all this power will ,i give thee1 and the glory of them3 for that is delivered unto me2 and to whomsoever ,i will ,i give it4 #db3jjd3jjg ,if thou therefore wilt worship me1 all shall be thine4 #db3jjd3jjh ,and ,jesus answered and said unto him1 ,get thee behind me1 ,satan3 for it is written1 ,thou shalt worship the ,lord thy ,god1 and him only shalt thou serve4 #db3jjd3jji ,and he brought him to ,jerusalem1 and set him on a pinnacle of the temple1 and said unto him1 ,if thou be the ,son of ,god1 cast thyself down from hence3 #db3jjd3jaj ,for it is written1 ,he shall give his angels charge over thee1 to keep thee3 #db3jjd3jaa ,and in their hands they shall bear thee up1 lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone4 #db3jjd3jab ,and ,jesus answering said unto him1 ,it is said1 ,thou shalt not tempt the ,lord thy ,god4 #db3jjd3jac ,and when the devil had ended all the temptation1 he departed from him for a season4 #db3jjd3jad ,and ,jesus returned in the power of the ,spirit into ,galilee3 and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about4 #db3jjd3jae ,and he taught in their synagogues1 being glorified of all4 #db3jjd3jaf ,and he came to ,nazareth1 where he had been brought up3 and1 as his custom was1 he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day1 and stood up for to read4 #db3jjd3jag ,and there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet ,esaias4 ,and when he had opened the book1 he found the place where it was written1 #db3jjd3jah ,the ,spirit of the ,lord is upon me1 because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor2 he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted1 to preach deliverance to the captives1 and recovering of sight to the blind1 to set at liberty them that are bruised1 #db3jjd3jai ,to preach the acceptable year of the ,lord4 #db3jjd3jbj ,and he closed the book1 and he gave it again to the minister1 and sat down4 ,and the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him4 #db3jjd3jba ,and he began to say unto them1 ,this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears4 #db3jjd3jbb ,and all bare him witness1 and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth4 ,and they said1 ,is not this ,joseph's son8 #db3jjd3jbc ,and he said unto them1 ,ye will surely say unto me this proverb1 ,physician1 heal thyself3 whatsoever we have heard done in ,capernaum1 do also here in thy country4 #db3jjd3jbd ,and he said1 ,verily ,i say unto you1 ,no prophet is accepted in his own country4 #db3jjd3jbe ,but ,i tell you of a truth1 many widows were in ,israel in the days of ,elias1 when the heaven was shut up three years and six months1 when great famine was throughout all the land2 #db3jjd3jbf ,but unto none of them was ,elias sent1 save unto ,sarepta1 a city of ,sidon1 unto a woman that was a widow4 #db3jjd3jbg ,and many lepers were in ,israel in the time of ,eliseus the prophet2 and none of them was cleansed1 saving ,naaman the ,syrian4 #db3jjd3jbh ,and all they in the synagogue1 when they heard these things1 were filled with wrath1 #db3jjd3jbi ,and rose up1 and thrust him out of the city1 and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built1 that they might cast him down headlong4 #db3jjd3jcj ,but he passing through the midst of them went his way1 #db3jjd3jca ,and came down to ,capernaum1 a city of ,galilee1 and taught them on the sabbath days4 #db3jjd3jcb ,and they were astonished at his doctrine3 for his word was with power4 #db3jjd3jcc ,and in the synagogue there was a man1 which had a spirit of an unclean devil1 and cried out with a loud voice1 #db3jjd3jcd ,saying1 ,let us alone2 what have we to do with thee1 thou ,jesus of ,nazareth8 art thou come to destroy us8 ,i know thee who thou art2 the ,holy ,one of ,god4 #db3jjd3jce ,and ,jesus rebuked him1 saying1 ,hold thy peace1 and come out of him4 ,and when the devil had thrown him in the midst1 he came out of him1 and hurt him not4 #db3jjd3jcf ,and they were all amazed1 and spake among themselves1 saying1 ,what a word is this6 for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits1 and they come out4 #db3jjd3jcg ,and the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about4 #db3jjd3jch ,and he arose out of the synagogue1 and entered into ,simon's house4 ,and ,simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever2 and they besought him for her4 #db3jjd3jci ,and he stood over her1 and rebuked the fever2 and it left her3 and immediately she arose and ministered unto them4 #db3jjd3jdj ,now when the sun was setting1 all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him2 and he laid his hands on every one of them1 and healed them4 #db3jjd3jda ,and devils also came out of many1 crying out1 and saying1 ,thou art ,christ the ,son of ,god4 ,and he rebuking them suffered them not to speak3 for they knew that he was ,christ4 #db3jjd3jdb ,and when it was day1 he departed and went into a desert place3 and the people sought him1 and came unto him1 and stayed him1 that he should not depart from them4 #db3jjd3jdc ,and he said unto them1 ,i must preach the kingdom of ,god to other cities also3 for therefore am ,i sent4 #db3jjd3jdd ,and he preached in the synagogues of ,galilee4 #db3jje3jja ,and it came to pass1 that1 as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of ,god1 he stood by the lake of ,gennesaret1 #db3jje3jjb ,and saw two ships standing by the lake3 but the fishermen were gone out of them1 and were washing their nets4 #db3jje3jjc ,and he entered into one of the ships1 which was ,simon's1 and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land4 ,and he sat down1 and taught the people out of the ship4 #db3jje3jjd ,now when he had left speaking1 he said unto ,simon1 ,launch out into the deep1 and let down your nets for a draught4 #db3jje3jje ,and ,simon answering said unto him1 ,master1 we have toiled all the night1 and have taken nothing3 nevertheless at thy word ,i will let down the net4 #db3jje3jjf ,and when they had this done1 they inclosed a great multitude of fishes3 and their net brake4 #db3jje3jjg ,and they beckoned unto their partners1 which were in the other ship1 that they should come and help them4 ,and they came1 and filled both the ships1 so that they began to sink4 #db3jje3jjh ,when ,simon ,peter saw it1 he fell down at ,jesus' knees1 saying1 ,depart from me2 for ,i am a sinful man1 ,o ,lord4 #db3jje3jji ,for he was astonished1 and all that were with him1 at the draught of the fishes which they had taken3 #db3jje3jaj ,and so was also ,james1 and ,john1 the sons of ,zebedee1 which were partners with ,simon4 ,and ,jesus said unto ,simon1 ,fear not2 from henceforth thou shalt catch men4 #db3jje3jaa ,and when they had brought their ships to land1 they forsook all1 and followed him4 #db3jje3jab ,and it came to pass1 when he was in a certain city1 behold a man full of leprosy3 who seeing ,jesus fell on his face1 and besought him1 saying1 ,lord1 if thou wilt1 thou canst make me clean4 #db3jje3jac ,and he put forth his hand1 and touched him1 saying1 ,i will3 be thou clean4 ,and immediately the leprosy departed from him4 #db3jje3jad ,and he charged him to tell no man3 but go1 and shew thyself to the priest1 and offer for thy cleansing1 according as ,moses commanded1 for a testimony unto them4 #db3jje3jae ,but so much the more went there a fame abroad of him3 and great multitudes came together to hear1 and to be healed by him of their infirmities4 #db3jje3jaf ,and he withdrew himself into the wilderness1 and prayed4 #db3jje3jag ,and it came to pass on a certain day1 as he was teaching1 that there were ,pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by1 which were come out of every town of ,galilee1 and ,judaea1 and ,jerusalem3 and the power of the ,lord was present to heal them4 #db3jje3jah ,and1 behold1 men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy3 and they sought means to bring him in1 and to lay him before him4 #db3jje3jai ,and when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude1 they went upon the housetop1 and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before ,jesus4 #db3jje3jbj ,and when he saw their faith1 he said unto him1 ,man1 thy sins are forgiven thee4 #db3jje3jba ,and the scribes and the ,pharisees began to reason1 saying1 ,who is this which speaketh blasphemies8 ,who can forgive sins1 but ,god alone8 #db3jje3jbb ,but when ,jesus perceived their thoughts1 he answering said unto them1 ,what reason ye in your hearts8 #db3jje3jbc ,whether is easier1 to say1 ,thy sins be forgiven thee2 or to say1 ,rise up and walk8 #db3jje3jbd ,but that ye may know that the ,son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins1 7he said unto the sick of the palsy17 ,i say unto thee1 ,arise1 and take up thy couch1 and go into thine house4 #db3jje3jbe ,and immediately he rose up before them1 and took up that whereon he lay1 and departed to his own house1 glorifying ,god4 #db3jje3jbf ,and they were all amazed1 and they glorified ,god1 and were filled with fear1 saying1 ,we have seen strange things to day4 #db3jje3jbg ,and after these things he went forth1 and saw a publican1 named ,levi1 sitting at the receipt of custom3 and he said unto him1 ,follow me4 #db3jje3jbh ,and he left all1 rose up1 and followed him4 #db3jje3jbi ,and ,levi made him a great feast in his own house3 and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them4 #db3jje3jcj ,but their scribes and ,pharisees murmured against his disciples1 saying1 ,why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners8 #db3jje3jca ,and ,jesus answering said unto them1 ,they that are whole need not a physician2 but they that are sick4 #db3jje3jcb ,i came not to call the righteous1 but sinners to repentance4 #db3jje3jcc ,and they said unto him1 ,why do the disciples of ,john fast often1 and make prayers1 and likewise the disciples of the ,pharisees2 but thine eat and drink8 #db3jje3jcd ,and he said unto them1 ,can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast1 while the bridegroom is with them8 #db3jje3jce ,but the days will come1 when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them1 and then shall they fast in those days4 #db3jje3jcf ,and he spake also a parable unto them2 ,no man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old2 if otherwise1 then both the new maketh a rent1 and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old4 #db3jje3jcg ,and no man putteth new wine into old bottles2 else the new wine will burst the bottles1 and be spilled1 and the bottles shall perish4 #db3jje3jch ,but new wine must be put into new bottles2 and both are preserved4 #db3jje3jci ,no man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new3 for he saith1 ,the old is better4 #db3jjf3jja ,and it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first1 that he went through the corn fields2 and his disciples plucked the ears of corn1 and did eat1 rubbing them in their hands4 #db3jjf3jjb ,and certain of the ,pharisees said unto them1 ,why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days8 #db3jjf3jjc ,and ,jesus answering them said1 ,have ye not read so much as this1 what ,david did1 when himself was an hungred1 and they which were with him2 #db3jjf3jjd ,how he went into the house of ,god1 and did take and eat the shewbread1 and gave also to them that were with him2 which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone8 #db3jjf3jje ,and he said unto them1 ,that the ,son of man is ,lord also of the sabbath4 #db3jjf3jjf ,and it came to pass also on another sabbath1 that he entered into the synagogue and taught3 and there was a man whose right hand was withered4 #db3jjf3jjg ,and the scribes and ,pharisees watched him1 whether he would heal on the sabbath day2 that they might find an accusation against him4 #db3jjf3jjh ,but he knew their thoughts1 and said to the man which had the withered hand1 ,rise up1 and stand forth in the midst4 ,and he arose and stood forth4 #db3jjf3jji ,then said ,jesus unto them1 ,i will ask you one thing2 ,is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good1 or to do evil8 to save life1 or to destroy it8 #db3jjf3jaj ,and looking round about upon them all1 he said unto the man1 ,stretch forth thy hand4 ,and he did so3 and his hand was restored whole as the other4 #db3jjf3jaa ,and they were filled with madness2 and communed one with another what they might do to ,jesus4 #db3jjf3jab ,and it came to pass in those days1 that he went out into a mountain to pray1 and continued all night in prayer to ,god4 #db3jjf3jac ,and when it was day1 he called unto him his disciples3 and of them he chose twelve1 whom also he named apostles2 #db3jjf3jad ,simon1 7whom he also named ,peter17 and ,andrew his brother1 ,james and ,john1 ,philip and ,bartholomew1 #db3jjf3jae ,matthew and ,thomas1 ,james the son of ,alphaeus1 and ,simon called ,zelotes1 #db3jjf3jaf ,and ,judas the brother of ,james1 and ,judas ,iscariot1 which also was the traitor4 #db3jjf3jag ,and he came down with them1 and stood in the plain1 and the company of his disciples1 and a great multitude of people out of all ,judaea and ,jerusalem1 and from the sea coast of ,tyre and ,sidon1 which came to hear him1 and to be healed of their diseases2 #db3jjf3jah ,and they that were vexed with unclean spirits3 and they were healed4 #db3jjf3jai ,and the whole multitude sought to touch him3 for there went virtue out of him1 and healed them all4 #db3jjf3jbj ,and he lifted up his eyes on his disciples1 and said1 ,blessed be ye poor3 for yours is the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jjf3jba ,blessed are ye that hunger now3 for ye shall be filled4 ,blessed are ye that weep now3 for ye shall laugh4 #db3jjf3jbb ,blessed are ye1 when men shall hate you1 and when they shall separate you from their company1 and shall reproach you1 and cast out your name as evil1 for the ,son of man's sake4 #db3jjf3jbc ,rejoice ye in that day1 and leap for joy3 for1 behold1 your reward is great in heaven3 for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets4 #db3jjf3jbd ,but woe unto you that are rich6 for ye have received your consolation4 #db3jjf3jbe ,woe unto you that are full6 for ye shall hunger4 ,woe unto you that laugh now6 for ye shall mourn and weep4 #db3jjf3jbf ,woe unto you1 when all men shall speak well of you6 for so did their fathers to the false prophets4 #db3jjf3jbg ,but ,i say unto you which hear1 ,love your enemies1 do good to them which hate you1 #db3jjf3jbh ,bless them that curse you1 and pray for them which despitefully use you4 #db3jjf3jbi ,and unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other2 and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also4 #db3jjf3jcj ,give to every man that asketh of thee2 and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again4 #db3jjf3jca ,and as ye would that men should do to you1 do ye also to them likewise4 #db3jjf3jcb ,for if ye love them which love you1 what thank have ye8 for sinners also love those that love them4 #db3jjf3jcc ,and if ye do good to them which do good to you1 what thank have ye8 for sinners also do even the same4 #db3jjf3jcd ,and if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive1 what thank have ye8 for sinners also lend to sinners1 to receive as much again4 #db3jjf3jce ,but love ye your enemies1 and do good1 and lend1 hoping for nothing again2 and your reward shall be great1 and ye shall be the children of the ,highest3 for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil4 #db3jjf3jcf ,be ye therefore merciful1 as your ,father also is merciful4 #db3jjf3jcg ,judge not1 and ye shall not be judged3 condemn not1 and ye shall not be condemned3 forgive1 and ye shall be forgiven3 #db3jjf3jch ,give1 and it shall be given unto you2 good measure1 pressed down1 and shaken together1 and running over1 shall men give into your bosom4 ,for with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again4 #db3jjf3jci ,and he spake a parable unto them1 ,can the blind lead the blind8 shall they not both fall into the ditch8 #db3jjf3jdj ,the disciple is not above his master3 but every one that is perfect shall be as his master4 #db3jjf3jda ,and why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye1 but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye8 #db3jjf3jdb ,either how canst thou say to thy brother1 ,brother1 let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye1 when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye8 ,thou hypocrite1 cast out first the beam out of thine own eye1 and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye4 #db3jjf3jdc ,for a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit2 neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit4 #db3jjf3jdd ,for every tree is known by his own fruit4 ,for of thorns men do not gather figs1 nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes4 #db3jjf3jde ,a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good2 and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil3 for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh4 #db3jjf3jdf ,and why call ye me1 ,lord1 ,lord1 and do not the things which ,i say8 #db3jjf3jdg ,whosoever cometh to me1 and heareth my sayings1 and doeth them1 ,i will shew you to whom he is like3 #db3jjf3jdh ,he is like a man which built an house1 and digged deep1 and laid the foundation on a rock3 and when the flood arose1 the stream beat vehemently upon that house1 and could not shake it3 for it was founded upon a rock4 #db3jjf3jdi ,but he that heareth1 and doeth not1 is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth2 against which the stream did beat vehemently1 and immediately it fell2 and the ruin of that house was great4 #db3jjg3jja ,now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people1 he entered into ,capernaum4 #db3jjg3jjb ,and a certain centurion's servant1 who was dear unto him1 was sick1 and ready to die4 #db3jjg3jjc ,and when he heard of ,jesus1 he sent unto him the elders of the ,jews1 beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant4 #db3jjg3jjd ,and when they came to ,jesus1 they besought him instantly1 saying1 ,that he was worthy for whom he should do this3 #db3jjg3jje ,for he loveth our nation1 and he hath built us a synagogue4 #db3jjg3jjf ,then ,jesus went with them4 ,and when he was now not far from the house1 the centurion sent friends to him1 saying unto him1 ,lord1 trouble not thyself3 for ,i am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof3 #db3jjg3jjg ,wherefore neither thought ,i myself worthy to come unto thee3 but say in a word1 and my servant shall be healed4 #db3jjg3jjh ,for ,i also am a man set under authority1 having under me soldiers1 and ,i say unto one1 ,go1 and he goeth2 and to another1 ,come1 and he cometh2 and to my servant1 ,do this1 and he doeth it4 #db3jjg3jji ,when ,jesus heard these things1 he marvelled at him1 and turned him about1 and said unto the people that followed him1 ,i say unto you1 ,i have not found so great faith1 no1 not in ,israel4 #db3jjg3jaj ,and they that were sent1 returning to the house1 found the servant whole that had been sick4 #db3jjg3jaa ,and it came to pass the day after1 that he went into a city called ,nain2 and many of his disciples went with him1 and much people4 #db3jjg3jab ,now when he came nigh to the gate of the city1 behold1 there was a dead man carried out1 the only son of his mother1 and she was a widow3 and much people of the city was with her4 #db3jjg3jac ,and when the ,lord saw her1 he had compassion on her1 and said unto her1 ,weep not4 #db3jjg3jad ,and he came and touched the bier3 and they that bare him stood still4 ,and he said1 ,young man1 ,i say unto thee1 ,arise4 #db3jjg3jae ,and he that was dead sat up1 and began to speak4 ,and he delivered him to his mother4 #db3jjg3jaf ,and there came a fear on all3 and they glorified ,god1 saying1 ,that a great prophet is risen up among us2 and1 ,that ,god hath visited his people4 #db3jjg3jag ,and this rumour of him went forth throughout all ,judaea1 and throughout all the region round about4 #db3jjg3jah ,and the disciples of ,john shewed him of all these things4 #db3jjg3jai ,and ,john calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to ,jesus1 saying1 ,art thou he that should come8 or look we for another8 #db3jjg3jbj ,when the men were come unto him1 they said1 ,john ,baptist hath sent us unto thee1 saying1 ,art thou he that should come8 or look we for another8 #db3jjg3jba ,and in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues1 and of evil spirits2 and unto many that were blind he gave sight4 #db3jjg3jbb ,then ,jesus answering said unto them1 ,go your way1 and tell ,john what things ye have seen and heard2 how that the blind see1 the lame walk1 the lepers are cleansed1 the deaf hear1 the dead are raised1 to the poor the gospel is preached4 #db3jjg3jbc ,and blessed is he1 whosoever shall not be offended in me4 #db3jjg3jbd ,and when the messengers of ,john were departed1 he began to speak unto the people concerning ,john1 ,what went ye out into the wilderness for to see8 ,a reed shaken with the wind8 #db3jjg3jbe ,but what went ye out for to see8 ,a man clothed in soft raiment8 ,behold1 they which are gorgeously apparelled1 and live delicately1 are in kings' courts4 #db3jjg3jbf ,but what went ye out for to see8 ,a prophet8 ,yea1 ,i say unto you1 and much more than a prophet4 #db3jjg3jbg ,this is he1 of whom it is written1 ,behold1 ,i send my messenger before thy face1 which shall prepare thy way before thee4 #db3jjg3jbh ,for ,i say unto you1 ,among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than ,john the ,baptist3 but he that is least in the kingdom of ,god is greater than he4 #db3jjg3jbi ,and all the people that heard him1 and the publicans1 justified ,god1 being baptized with the baptism of ,john4 #db3jjg3jcj ,but the ,pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of ,god against themselves1 being not baptized of him4 #db3jjg3jca ,and the ,lord said1 ,whereunto then shall ,i liken the men of this generation8 and to what are they like8 #db3jjg3jcb ,they are like unto children sitting in the marketplace1 and calling one to another1 and saying1 ,we have piped unto you1 and ye have not danced2 we have mourned to you1 and ye have not wept4 #db3jjg3jcc ,for ,john the ,baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine2 and ye say1 ,he hath a devil4 #db3jjg3jcd ,the ,son of man is come eating and drinking2 and ye say1 ,behold a gluttonous man1 and a winebibber1 a friend of publicans and sinners6 #db3jjg3jce ,but wisdom is justified of all her children4 #db3jjg3jcf ,and one of the ,pharisees desired him that he would eat with him4 ,and he went into the ,pharisee's house1 and sat down to meat4 #db3jjg3jcg ,and1 behold1 a woman in the city1 which was a sinner1 when she knew that ,jesus sat at meat in the ,pharisee's house1 brought an alabaster box of ointment1 #db3jjg3jch ,and stood at his feet behind him weeping1 and began to wash his feet with tears1 and did wipe them with the hairs of her head1 and kissed his feet1 and anointed them with the ointment4 #db3jjg3jci ,now when the ,pharisee which had bidden him saw it1 he spake within himself1 saying1 ,this man1 if he were a prophet1 would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him3 for she is a sinner4 #db3jjg3jdj ,and ,jesus answering said unto him1 ,simon1 ,i have somewhat to say unto thee4 ,and he saith1 ,master1 say on4 #db3jjg3jda ,there was a certain creditor which had two debtors3 the one owed five hundred pence1 and the other fifty4 #db3jjg3jdb ,and when they had nothing to pay1 he frankly forgave them both4 ,tell me therefore1 which of them will love him most8 #db3jjg3jdc ,simon answered and said1 ,i suppose that he1 to whom he forgave most4 ,and he said unto him1 ,thou hast rightly judged4 #db3jjg3jdd ,and he turned to the woman1 and said unto ,simon1 ,seest thou this woman8 ,i entered into thine house1 thou gavest me no water for my feet3 but she hath washed my feet with tears1 and wiped them with the hairs of her head4 #db3jjg3jde ,thou gavest me no kiss3 but this woman since the time ,i came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet4 #db3jjg3jdf ,my head with oil thou didst not anoint3 but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment4 #db3jjg3jdg ,wherefore ,i say unto thee1 ,her sins1 which are many1 are forgiven2 for she loved much3 but to whom little is forgiven1 the same loveth little4 #db3jjg3jdh ,and he said unto her1 ,thy sins are forgiven4 #db3jjg3jdi ,and they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves1 ,who is this that forgiveth sins also8 #db3jjg3jej ,and he said to the woman1 ,thy faith hath saved thee2 go in peace4 #db3jjh3jja ,and it came to pass afterward1 that he went throughout every city and village1 preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of ,god3 and the twelve were with him1 #db3jjh3jjb ,and certain women1 which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities1 ,mary called ,magdalene1 out of whom went seven devils1 #db3jjh3jjc ,and ,joanna the wife of ,chuza ,herod's steward1 and ,susanna1 and many others1 which ministered unto him of their substance4 #db3jjh3jjd ,and when much people were gathered together1 and were come to him out of every city1 he spake by a parable3 #db3jjh3jje ,a sower went out to sow his seed3 and as he sowed1 some fell by the way side2 and it was trodden down1 and the fowls of the air devoured it4 #db3jjh3jjf ,and some fell upon a rock2 and as soon as it was sprung up1 it withered away1 because it lacked moisture4 #db3jjh3jjg ,and some fell among thorns2 and the thorns sprang up with it1 and choked it4 #db3jjh3jjh ,and other fell on good ground1 and sprang up1 and bare fruit an hundredfold4 ,and when he had said these things1 he cried1 ,he that hath ears to hear1 let him hear4 #db3jjh3jji ,and his disciples asked him1 saying1 ,what might this parable be8 #db3jjh3jaj ,and he said1 ,unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of ,god3 but to others in parables2 that seeing they might not see1 and hearing they might not understand4 #db3jjh3jaa ,now the parable is this3 ,the seed is the word of ,god4 #db3jjh3jab ,those by the way side are they that hear2 then cometh the devil1 and taketh away the word out of their hearts1 lest they should believe and be saved4 #db3jjh3jac ,they on the rock are they1 which1 when they hear1 receive the word with joy2 and these have no root1 which for a while believe1 and in time of temptation fall away4 #db3jjh3jad ,and that which fell among thorns are they1 which1 when they have heard1 go forth1 and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life1 and bring no fruit to perfection4 #db3jjh3jae ,but that on the good ground are they1 which in an honest and good heart1 having heard the word1 keep it1 and bring forth fruit with patience4 #db3jjh3jaf ,no man1 when he hath lighted a candle1 covereth it with a vessel1 or putteth it under a bed2 but setteth it on a candlestick1 that they which enter in may see the light4 #db3jjh3jag ,for nothing is secret1 that shall not be made manifest2 neither any thing hid1 that shall not be known and come abroad4 #db3jjh3jah ,take heed therefore how ye hear3 for whosoever hath1 to him shall be given2 and whosoever hath not1 from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have4 #db3jjh3jai ,then came to him his mother and his brethren1 and could not come at him for the press4 #db3jjh3jbj ,and it was told him by certain which said1 ,thy mother and thy brethren stand without1 desiring to see thee4 #db3jjh3jba ,and he answered and said unto them1 ,my mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of ,god1 and do it4 #db3jjh3jbb ,now it came to pass on a certain day1 that he went into a ship with his disciples3 and he said unto them1 ,let us go over unto the other side of the lake4 ,and they launched forth4 #db3jjh3jbc ,but as they sailed he fell asleep3 and there came down a storm of wind on the lake2 and they were filled with water1 and were in jeopardy4 #db3jjh3jbd ,and they came to him1 and awoke him1 saying1 ,master1 master1 we perish4 ,then he arose1 and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water3 and they ceased1 and there was a calm4 #db3jjh3jbe ,and he said unto them1 ,where is your faith8 ,and they being afraid wondered1 saying one to another1 ,what manner of man is this6 for he commandeth even the winds and water1 and they obey him4 #db3jjh3jbf ,and they arrived at the country of the ,gadarenes1 which is over against ,galilee4 #db3jjh3jbg ,and when he went forth to land1 there met him out of the city a certain man1 which had devils long time1 and ware no clothes1 neither abode in any house1 but in the tombs4 #db3jjh3jbh ,when he saw ,jesus1 he cried out1 and fell down before him1 and with a loud voice said1 ,what have ,i to do with thee1 ,jesus1 thou ,son of ,god most high8 ,i beseech thee1 torment me not4 #db3jjh3jbi 7,for he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man4 ,for oftentimes it had caught him3 and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters2 and he brake the bands1 and was driven of the devil into the wilderness47 #db3jjh3jcj ,and ,jesus asked him1 saying1 ,what is thy name8 ,and he said1 ,legion3 because many devils were entered into him4 #db3jjh3jca ,and they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep4 #db3jjh3jcb ,and there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain3 and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them4 ,and he suffered them4 #db3jjh3jcc ,then went the devils out of the man1 and entered into the swine3 and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake1 and were choked4 #db3jjh3jcd ,when they that fed them saw what was done1 they fled1 and went and told it in the city and in the country4 #db3jjh3jce ,then they went out to see what was done2 and came to ,jesus1 and found the man1 out of whom the devils were departed1 sitting at the feet of ,jesus1 clothed1 and in his right mind3 and they were afraid4 #db3jjh3jcf ,they also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed4 #db3jjh3jcg ,then the whole multitude of the country of the ,gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them2 for they were taken with great fear3 and he went up into the ship1 and returned back again4 #db3jjh3jch ,now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him3 but ,jesus sent him away1 saying1 #db3jjh3jci ,return to thine own house1 and shew how great things ,god hath done unto thee4 ,and he went his way1 and published throughout the whole city how great things ,jesus had done unto him4 #db3jjh3jdj ,and it came to pass1 that1 when ,jesus was returned1 the people gladly received him3 for they were all waiting for him4 #db3jjh3jda ,and1 behold1 there came a man named ,jairus1 and he was a ruler of the synagogue3 and he fell down at ,jesus' feet1 and besought him that he would come into his house3 #db3jjh3jdb ,for he had one only daughter1 about twelve years of age1 and she lay a dying4 ,but as he went the people thronged him4 #db3jjh3jdc ,and a woman having an issue of blood twelve years1 which had spent all her living upon physicians1 neither could be healed of any1 #db3jjh3jdd ,came behind him1 and touched the border of his garment3 and immediately her issue of blood stanched4 #db3jjh3jde ,and ,jesus said1 ,who touched me8 ,when all denied1 ,peter and they that were with him said1 ,master1 the multitude throng thee and press thee1 and sayest thou1 ,who touched me8 #db3jjh3jdf ,and ,jesus said1 ,somebody hath touched me3 for ,i perceive that virtue is gone out of me4 #db3jjh3jdg ,and when the woman saw that she was not hid1 she came trembling1 and falling down before him1 she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him1 and how she was healed immediately4 #db3jjh3jdh ,and he said unto her1 ,daughter1 be of good comfort3 thy faith hath made thee whole2 go in peace4 #db3jjh3jdi ,while he yet spake1 there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house1 saying to him1 ,thy daughter is dead2 trouble not the ,master4 #db3jjh3jej ,but when ,jesus heard it1 he answered him1 saying1 ,fear not3 believe only1 and she shall be made whole4 #db3jjh3jea ,and when he came into the house1 he suffered no man to go in1 save ,peter1 and ,james1 and ,john1 and the father and the mother of the maiden4 #db3jjh3jeb ,and all wept1 and bewailed her3 but he said1 ,weep not2 she is not dead1 but sleepeth4 #db3jjh3jec ,and they laughed him to scorn1 knowing that she was dead4 #db3jjh3jed ,and he put them all out1 and took her by the hand1 and called1 saying1 ,maid1 arise4 #db3jjh3jee ,and her spirit came again1 and she arose straightway3 and he commanded to give her meat4 #db3jjh3jef ,and her parents were astonished3 but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done4 #db3jji3jja ,then he called his twelve disciples together1 and gave them power and authority over all devils1 and to cure diseases4 #db3jji3jjb ,and he sent them to preach the kingdom of ,god1 and to heal the sick4 #db3jji3jjc ,and he said unto them1 ,take nothing for your journey1 neither staves1 nor scrip1 neither bread1 neither money2 neither have two coats apiece4 #db3jji3jjd ,and whatsoever house ye enter into1 there abide1 and thence depart4 #db3jji3jje ,and whosoever will not receive you1 when ye go out of that city1 shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them4 #db3jji3jjf ,and they departed1 and went through the towns1 preaching the gospel1 and healing every where4 #db3jji3jjg ,now ,herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him3 and he was perplexed1 because that it was said of some1 that ,john was risen from the dead2 #db3jji3jjh ,and of some1 that ,elias had appeared2 and of others1 that one of the old prophets was risen again4 #db3jji3jji ,and ,herod said1 ,john have ,i beheaded3 but who is this1 of whom ,i hear such things8 ,and he desired to see him4 #db3jji3jaj ,and the apostles1 when they were returned1 told him all that they had done4 ,and he took them1 and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called ,bethsaida4 #db3jji3jaa ,and the people1 when they knew it1 followed him3 and he received them1 and spake unto them of the kingdom of ,god1 and healed them that had need of healing4 #db3jji3jab ,and when the day began to wear away1 then came the twelve1 and said unto him1 ,send the multitude away1 that they may go into the towns and country round about1 and lodge1 and get victuals3 for we are here in a desert place4 #db3jji3jac ,but he said unto them1 ,give ye them to eat4 ,and they said1 ,we have no more but five loaves and two fishes2 except we should go and buy meat for all this people4 #db3jji3jad ,for they were about five thousand men4 ,and he said to his disciples1 ,make them sit down by fifties in a company4 #db3jji3jae ,and they did so1 and made them all sit down4 #db3jji3jaf ,then he took the five loaves and the two fishes1 and looking up to heaven1 he blessed them1 and brake1 and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude4 #db3jji3jag ,and they did eat1 and were all filled3 and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets4 #db3jji3jah ,and it came to pass1 as he was alone praying1 his disciples were with him3 and he asked them1 saying1 ,whom say the people that ,i am8 #db3jji3jai ,they answering said1 ,john the ,baptist2 but some say1 ,elias2 and others say1 that one of the old prophets is risen again4 #db3jji3jbj ,he said unto them1 ,but whom say ye that ,i am8 ,peter answering said1 ,the ,christ of ,god4 #db3jji3jba ,and he straitly charged them1 and commanded them to tell no man that thing2 #db3jji3jbb ,saying1 ,the ,son of man must suffer many things1 and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes1 and be slain1 and be raised the third day4 #db3jji3jbc ,and he said to them all1 ,if any man will come after me1 let him deny himself1 and take up his cross daily1 and follow me4 #db3jji3jbd ,for whosoever will save his life shall lose it3 but whosoever will lose his life for my sake1 the same shall save it4 #db3jji3jbe ,for what is a man advantaged1 if he gain the whole world1 and lose himself1 or be cast away8 #db3jji3jbf ,for whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words1 of him shall the ,son of man be ashamed1 when he shall come in his own glory1 and in his ,father's1 and of the holy angels4 #db3jji3jbg ,but ,i tell you of a truth1 there be some standing here1 which shall not taste of death1 till they see the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jji3jbh ,and it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings1 he took ,peter and ,john and ,james1 and went up into a mountain to pray4 #db3jji3jbi ,and as he prayed1 the fashion of his countenance was altered1 and his raiment was white and glistering4 #db3jji3jcj ,and1 behold1 there talked with him two men1 which were ,moses and ,elias3 #db3jji3jca ,who appeared in glory1 and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at ,jerusalem4 #db3jji3jcb ,but ,peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep3 and when they were awake1 they saw his glory1 and the two men that stood with him4 #db3jji3jcc ,and it came to pass1 as they departed from him1 ,peter said unto ,jesus1 ,master1 it is good for us to be here3 and let us make three tabernacles2 one for thee1 and one for ,moses1 and one for ,elias3 not knowing what he said4 #db3jji3jcd ,while he thus spake1 there came a cloud1 and overshadowed them3 and they feared as they entered into the cloud4 #db3jji3jce ,and there came a voice out of the cloud1 saying1 ,this is my beloved ,son3 hear him4 #db3jji3jcf ,and when the voice was past1 ,jesus was found alone4 ,and they kept it close1 and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen4 #db3jji3jcg ,and it came to pass1 that on the next day1 when they were come down from the hill1 much people met him4 #db3jji3jch ,and1 behold1 a man of the company cried out1 saying1 ,master1 ,i beseech thee1 look upon my son3 for he is mine only child4 #db3jji3jci ,and1 lo1 a spirit taketh him1 and he suddenly crieth out2 and it teareth him that he foameth again1 and bruising him hardly departeth from him4 #db3jji3jdj ,and ,i besought thy disciples to cast him out2 and they could not4 #db3jji3jda ,and ,jesus answering said1 ,o faithless and perverse generation1 how long shall ,i be with you1 and suffer you8 ,bring thy son hither4 #db3jji3jdb ,and as he was yet a coming1 the devil threw him down1 and tare him4 ,and ,jesus rebuked the unclean spirit1 and healed the child1 and delivered him again to his father4 #db3jji3jdc ,and they were all amazed at the mighty power of ,god4 ,but while they wondered every one at all things which ,jesus did1 he said unto his disciples1 #db3jji3jdd ,let these sayings sink down into your ears3 for the ,son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men4 #db3jji3jde ,but they understood not this saying1 and it was hid from them1 that they perceived it not3 and they feared to ask him of that saying4 #db3jji3jdf ,then there arose a reasoning among them1 which of them should be greatest4 #db3jji3jdg ,and ,jesus1 perceiving the thought of their heart1 took a child1 and set him by him1 #db3jji3jdh ,and said unto them1 ,whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me3 and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me3 for he that is least among you all1 the same shall be great4 #db3jji3jdi ,and ,john answered and said1 ,master1 we saw one casting out devils in thy name2 and we forbad him1 because he followeth not with us4 #db3jji3jej ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,forbid him not3 for he that is not against us is for us4 #db3jji3jea ,and it came to pass1 when the time was come that he should be received up1 he stedfastly set his face to go to ,jerusalem1 #db3jji3jeb ,and sent messengers before his face3 and they went1 and entered into a village of the ,samaritans1 to make ready for him4 #db3jji3jec ,and they did not receive him1 because his face was as though he would go to ,jerusalem4 #db3jji3jed ,and when his disciples ,james and ,john saw this1 they said1 ,lord1 wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven1 and consume them1 even as ,elias did8 #db3jji3jee ,but he turned1 and rebuked them1 and said1 ,ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of4 #db3jji3jef ,for the ,son of man is not come to destroy men's lives1 but to save them4 ,and they went to another village4 #db3jji3jeg ,and it came to pass1 that1 as they went in the way1 a certain man said unto him1 ,lord1 ,i will follow thee whithersoever thou goest4 #db3jji3jeh ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,foxes have holes1 and birds of the air have nests2 but the ,son of man hath not where to lay his head4 #db3jji3jei ,and he said unto another1 ,follow me4 ,but he said1 ,lord1 suffer me first to go and bury my father4 #db3jji3jfj ,jesus said unto him1 ,let the dead bury their dead3 but go thou and preach the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jji3jfa ,and another also said1 ,lord1 ,i will follow thee2 but let me first go bid them farewell1 which are at home at my house4 #db3jji3jfb ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,no man1 having put his hand to the plough1 and looking back1 is fit for the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jaj3jja ,after these things the ,,lord appointed other seventy also1 and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place1 whither he himself would come4 #db3jaj3jjb ,therefore said he unto them1 ,the harvest truly is great1 but the labourers are few3 pray ye therefore the ,lord of the harvest1 that he would send forth labourers into his harvest4 #db3jaj3jjc ,go your ways3 behold1 ,i send you forth as lambs among wolves4 #db3jaj3jjd ,carry neither purse1 nor scrip1 nor shoes3 and salute no man by the way4 #db3jaj3jje ,and into whatsoever house ye enter1 first say1 ,peace be to this house4 #db3jaj3jjf ,and if the son of peace be there1 your peace shall rest upon it3 if not1 it shall turn to you again4 #db3jaj3jjg ,and in the same house remain1 eating and drinking such things as they give3 for the labourer is worthy of his hire4 ,go not from house to house4 #db3jaj3jjh ,and into whatsoever city ye enter1 and they receive you1 eat such things as are set before you3 #db3jaj3jji ,and heal the sick that are therein1 and say unto them1 ,the kingdom of ,god is come nigh unto you4 #db3jaj3jaj ,but into whatsoever city ye enter1 and they receive you not1 go your ways out into the streets of the same1 and say1 #db3jaj3jaa ,even the very dust of your city1 which cleaveth on us1 we do wipe off against you3 notwithstanding be ye sure of this1 that the kingdom of ,god is come nigh unto you4 #db3jaj3jab ,but ,i say unto you1 that it shall be more tolerable in that day for ,sodom1 than for that city4 #db3jaj3jac ,woe unto thee1 ,chorazin6 woe unto thee1 ,bethsaida6 for if the mighty works had been done in ,tyre and ,sidon1 which have been done in you1 they had a great while ago repented1 sitting in sackcloth and ashes4 #db3jaj3jad ,but it shall be more tolerable for ,tyre and ,sidon at the judgment1 than for you4 #db3jaj3jae ,and thou1 ,capernaum1 which art exalted to heaven1 shalt be thrust down to hell4 #db3jaj3jaf ,he that heareth you heareth me2 and he that despiseth you despiseth me2 and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me4 #db3jaj3jag ,and the seventy returned again with joy1 saying1 ,lord1 even the devils are subject unto us through thy name4 #db3jaj3jah ,and he said unto them1 ,i beheld ,satan as lightning fall from heaven4 #db3jaj3jai ,behold1 ,i give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions1 and over all the power of the enemy3 and nothing shall by any means hurt you4 #db3jaj3jbj ,notwithstanding in this rejoice not1 that the spirits are subject unto you2 but rather rejoice1 because your names are written in heaven4 #db3jaj3jba ,in that hour ,jesus rejoiced in spirit1 and said1 ,i thank thee1 ,o ,father1 ,lord of heaven and earth1 that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent1 and hast revealed them unto babes3 even so1 ,father2 for so it seemed good in thy sight4 #db3jaj3jbb ,all things are delivered to me of my ,father3 and no man knoweth who the ,son is1 but the ,father2 and who the ,father is1 but the ,son1 and he to whom the ,son will reveal him4 #db3jaj3jbc ,and he turned him unto his disciples1 and said privately1 ,blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see3 #db3jaj3jbd ,for ,i tell you1 that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see1 and have not seen them2 and to hear those things which ye hear1 and have not heard them4 #db3jaj3jbe ,and1 behold1 a certain lawyer stood up1 and tempted him1 saying1 ,master1 what shall ,i do to inherit eternal life8 #db3jaj3jbf ,he said unto him1 ,what is written in the law8 how readest thou8 #db3jaj3jbg ,and he answering said1 ,thou shalt love the ,lord thy ,god with all thy heart1 and with all thy soul1 and with all thy strength1 and with all thy mind2 and thy neighbour as thyself4 #db3jaj3jbh ,and he said unto him1 ,thou hast answered right3 this do1 and thou shalt live4 #db3jaj3jbi ,but he1 willing to justify himself1 said unto ,jesus1 ,and who is my neighbour8 #db3jaj3jcj ,and ,jesus answering said1 ,a certain man went down from ,jerusalem to ,jericho1 and fell among thieves1 which stripped him of his raiment1 and wounded him1 and departed1 leaving him half dead4 #db3jaj3jca ,and by chance there came down a certain priest that way3 and when he saw him1 he passed by on the other side4 #db3jaj3jcb ,and likewise a ,levite1 when he was at the place1 came and looked on him1 and passed by on the other side4 #db3jaj3jcc ,but a certain ,samaritan1 as he journeyed1 came where he was3 and when he saw him1 he had compassion on him1 #db3jaj3jcd ,and went to him1 and bound up his wounds1 pouring in oil and wine1 and set him on his own beast1 and brought him to an inn1 and took care of him4 #db3jaj3jce ,and on the morrow when he departed1 he took out two pence1 and gave them to the host1 and said unto him1 ,take care of him2 and whatsoever thou spendest more1 when ,i come again1 ,i will repay thee4 #db3jaj3jcf ,which now of these three1 thinkest thou1 was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves8 #db3jaj3jcg ,and he said1 ,he that shewed mercy on him4 ,then said ,jesus unto him1 ,go1 and do thou likewise4 #db3jaj3jch ,now it came to pass1 as they went1 that he entered into a certain village3 and a certain woman named ,martha received him into her house4 #db3jaj3jci ,and she had a sister called ,mary1 which also sat at ,jesus' feet1 and heard his word4 #db3jaj3jdj ,but ,martha was cumbered about much serving1 and came to him1 and said1 ,lord1 dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone8 bid her therefore that she help me4 #db3jaj3jda ,and ,jesus answered and said unto her1 ,martha1 ,martha1 thou art careful and troubled about many things3 #db3jaj3jdb ,but one thing is needful3 and ,mary hath chosen that good part1 which shall not be taken away from her4 #db3jaa3jja ,and it came to pass1 that1 as he was praying in a certain place1 when he ceased1 one of his disciples said unto him1 ,lord1 teach us to pray1 as ,john also taught his disciples4 #db3jaa3jjb ,and he said unto them1 ,when ye pray1 say1 ,our ,father which art in heaven1 ,hallowed be thy name4 ,thy kingdom come4 ,thy will be done1 as in heaven1 so in earth4 #db3jaa3jjc ,give us day by day our daily bread4 #db3jaa3jjd ,and forgive us our sins2 for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us4 ,and lead us not into temptation2 but deliver us from evil4 #db3jaa3jje ,and he said unto them1 ,which of you shall have a friend1 and shall go unto him at midnight1 and say unto him1 ,friend1 lend me three loaves2 #db3jaa3jjf ,for a friend of mine in his journey is come to me1 and ,i have nothing to set before him8 #db3jaa3jjg ,and he from within shall answer and say1 ,trouble me not3 the door is now shut1 and my children are with me in bed2 ,i cannot rise and give thee4 #db3jaa3jjh ,i say unto you1 ,though he will not rise and give him1 because he is his friend1 yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth4 #db3jaa3jji ,and ,i say unto you1 ,ask1 and it shall be given you2 seek1 and ye shall find2 knock1 and it shall be opened unto you4 #db3jaa3jaj ,for every one that asketh receiveth2 and he that seeketh findeth2 and to him that knocketh it shall be opened4 #db3jaa3jaa ,if a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father1 will he give him a stone8 or if he ask a fish1 will he for a fish give him a serpent8 #db3jaa3jab ,or if he shall ask an egg1 will he offer him a scorpion8 #db3jaa3jac ,if ye then1 being evil1 know how to give good gifts unto your children3 how much more shall your heavenly ,father give the ,holy ,spirit to them that ask him8 #db3jaa3jad ,and he was casting out a devil1 and it was dumb4 ,and it came to pass1 when the devil was gone out1 the dumb spake2 and the people wondered4 #db3jaa3jae ,but some of them said1 ,he casteth out devils through ,beelzebub the chief of the devils4 #db3jaa3jaf ,and others1 tempting him1 sought of him a sign from heaven4 #db3jaa3jag ,but he1 knowing their thoughts1 said unto them1 ,every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation2 and a house divided against a house falleth4 #db3jaa3jah ,if ,satan also be divided against himself1 how shall his kingdom stand8 because ye say that ,i cast out devils through ,beelzebub4 #db3jaa3jai ,and if ,i by ,beelzebub cast out devils1 by whom do your sons cast them out8 therefore shall they be your judges4 #db3jaa3jbj ,but if ,i with the finger of ,god cast out devils1 no doubt the kingdom of ,god is come upon you4 #db3jaa3jba ,when a strong man armed keepeth his palace1 his goods are in peace3 #db3jaa3jbb ,but when a stronger than he shall come upon him1 and overcome him1 he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted1 and divideth his spoils4 #db3jaa3jbc ,he that is not with me is against me3 and he that gathereth not with me scattereth4 #db3jaa3jbd ,when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man1 he walketh through dry places1 seeking rest2 and finding none1 he saith1 ,i will return unto my house whence ,i came out4 #db3jaa3jbe ,and when he cometh1 he findeth it swept and garnished4 #db3jaa3jbf ,then goeth he1 and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself2 and they enter in1 and dwell there3 and the last state of that man is worse than the first4 #db3jaa3jbg ,and it came to pass1 as he spake these things1 a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice1 and said unto him1 ,blessed is the womb that bare thee1 and the paps which thou hast sucked4 #db3jaa3jbh ,but he said1 ,yea rather1 blessed are they that hear the word of ,god1 and keep it4 #db3jaa3jbi ,and when the people were gathered thick together1 he began to say1 ,this is an evil generation3 they seek a sign2 and there shall no sign be given it1 but the sign of ,jonas the prophet4 #db3jaa3jcj ,for as ,jonas was a sign unto the ,ninevites1 so shall also the ,son of man be to this generation4 #db3jaa3jca ,the queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation1 and condemn them3 for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of ,solomon2 and1 behold1 a greater than ,solomon is here4 #db3jaa3jcb ,the men of ,nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation1 and shall condemn it3 for they repented at the preaching of ,jonas2 and1 behold1 a greater than ,jonas is here4 #db3jaa3jcc ,no man1 when he hath lighted a candle1 putteth it in a secret place1 neither under a bushel1 but on a candlestick1 that they which come in may see the light4 #db3jaa3jcd ,the light of the body is the eye3 therefore when thine eye is single1 thy whole body also is full of light2 but when thine eye is evil1 thy body also is full of darkness4 #db3jaa3jce ,take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness4 #db3jaa3jcf ,if thy whole body therefore be full of light1 having no part dark1 the whole shall be full of light1 as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light4 #db3jaa3jcg ,and as he spake1 a certain ,pharisee besought him to dine with him3 and he went in1 and sat down to meat4 #db3jaa3jch ,and when the ,pharisee saw it1 he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner4 #db3jaa3jci ,and the ,lord said unto him1 ,now do ye ,pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter2 but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness4 #db3jaa3jdj ,ye fools1 did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also8 #db3jaa3jda ,but rather give alms of such things as ye have2 and1 behold1 all things are clean unto you4 #db3jaa3jdb ,but woe unto you1 ,pharisees6 for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs1 and pass over judgment and the love of ,god3 these ought ye to have done1 and not to leave the other undone4 #db3jaa3jdc ,woe unto you1 ,pharisees6 for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues1 and greetings in the markets4 #db3jaa3jdd ,woe unto you1 scribes and ,pharisees1 hypocrites6 for ye are as graves which appear not1 and the men that walk over them are not aware of them4 #db3jaa3jde ,then answered one of the lawyers1 and said unto him1 ,master1 thus saying thou reproachest us also4 #db3jaa3jdf ,and he said1 ,woe unto you also1 ye lawyers6 for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne1 and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers4 #db3jaa3jdg ,woe unto you6 for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets1 and your fathers killed them4 #db3jaa3jdh ,truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers3 for they indeed killed them1 and ye build their sepulchres4 #db3jaa3jdi ,therefore also said the wisdom of ,god1 ,i will send them prophets and apostles1 and some of them they shall slay and persecute3 #db3jaa3jej ,that the blood of all the prophets1 which was shed from the foundation of the world1 may be required of this generation2 #db3jaa3jea ,from the blood of ,abel unto the blood of ,zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple3 verily ,i say unto you1 ,it shall be required of this generation4 #db3jaa3jeb ,woe unto you1 lawyers6 for ye have taken away the key of knowledge3 ye entered not in yourselves1 and them that were entering in ye hindered4 #db3jaa3jec ,and as he said these things unto them1 the scribes and the ,pharisees began to urge him vehemently1 and to provoke him to speak of many things3 #db3jaa3jed ,laying wait for him1 and seeking to catch something out of his mouth1 that they might accuse him4 #db3jab3jja ,in the mean time1 when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people1 insomuch that they trode one upon another1 he began to say unto his disciples first of all1 ,beware ye of the leaven of the ,pharisees1 which is hypocrisy4 #db3jab3jjb ,for there is nothing covered1 that shall not be revealed2 neither hid1 that shall not be known4 #db3jab3jjc ,therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light2 and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops4 #db3jab3jjd ,and ,i say unto you my friends1 ,be not afraid of them that kill the body1 and after that have no more that they can do4 #db3jab3jje ,but ,i will forewarn you whom ye shall fear3 ,fear him1 which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell2 yea1 ,i say unto you1 ,fear him4 #db3jab3jjf ,are not five sparrows sold for two farthings1 and not one of them is forgotten before ,god8 #db3jab3jjg ,but even the very hairs of your head are all numbered4 ,fear not therefore3 ye are of more value than many sparrows4 #db3jab3jjh ,also ,i say unto you1 ,whosoever shall confess me before men1 him shall the ,son of man also confess before the angels of ,god3 #db3jab3jji ,but he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of ,god4 #db3jab3jaj ,and whosoever shall speak a word against the ,son of man1 it shall be forgiven him3 but unto him that blasphemeth against the ,holy ,ghost it shall not be forgiven4 #db3jab3jaa ,and when they bring you unto the synagogues1 and unto magistrates1 and powers1 take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer1 or what ye shall say3 #db3jab3jab ,for the ,holy ,ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say4 #db3jab3jac ,and one of the company said unto him1 ,master1 speak to my brother1 that he divide the inheritance with me4 #db3jab3jad ,and he said unto him1 ,man1 who made me a judge or a divider over you8 #db3jab3jae ,and he said unto them1 ,take heed1 and beware of covetousness3 for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth4 #db3jab3jaf ,and he spake a parable unto them1 saying1 ,the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully3 #db3jab3jag ,and he thought within himself1 saying1 ,what shall ,i do1 because ,i have no room where to bestow my fruits8 #db3jab3jah ,and he said1 ,this will ,i do3 ,i will pull down my barns1 and build greater2 and there will ,i bestow all my fruits and my goods4 #db3jab3jai ,and ,i will say to my soul1 ,soul1 thou hast much goods laid up for many years2 take thine ease1 eat1 drink1 and be merry4 #db3jab3jbj ,but ,god said unto him1 ,thou fool1 this night thy soul shall be required of thee3 then whose shall those things be1 which thou hast provided8 #db3jab3jba ,so is he that layeth up treasure for himself1 and is not rich toward ,god4 #db3jab3jbb ,and he said unto his disciples1 ,therefore ,i say unto you1 ,take no thought for your life1 what ye shall eat2 neither for the body1 what ye shall put on4 #db3jab3jbc ,the life is more than meat1 and the body is more than raiment4 #db3jab3jbd ,consider the ravens3 for they neither sow nor reap2 which neither have storehouse nor barn2 and ,god feedeth them3 how much more are ye better than the fowls8 #db3jab3jbe ,and which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit8 #db3jab3jbf ,if ye then be not able to do that thing which is least1 why take ye thought for the rest8 #db3jab3jbg ,consider the lilies how they grow3 they toil not1 they spin not2 and yet ,i say unto you1 that ,solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these4 #db3jab3jbh ,if then ,god so clothe the grass1 which is to day in the field1 and to morrow is cast into the oven2 how much more will he clothe you1 ,o ye of little faith8 #db3jab3jbi ,and seek not ye what ye shall eat1 or what ye shall drink1 neither be ye of doubtful mind4 #db3jab3jcj ,for all these things do the nations of the world seek after3 and your ,father knoweth that ye have need of these things4 #db3jab3jca ,but rather seek ye the kingdom of ,god2 and all these things shall be added unto you4 #db3jab3jcb ,fear not1 little flock2 for it is your ,father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom4 #db3jab3jcc ,sell that ye have1 and give alms2 provide yourselves bags which wax not old1 a treasure in the heavens that faileth not1 where no thief approacheth1 neither moth corrupteth4 #db3jab3jcd ,for where your treasure is1 there will your heart be also4 #db3jab3jce ,let your loins be girded about1 and your lights burning2 #db3jab3jcf ,and ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord1 when he will return from the wedding2 that when he cometh and knocketh1 they may open unto him immediately4 #db3jab3jcg ,blessed are those servants1 whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching3 verily ,i say unto you1 that he shall gird himself1 and make them to sit down to meat1 and will come forth and serve them4 #db3jab3jch ,and if he shall come in the second watch1 or come in the third watch1 and find them so1 blessed are those servants4 #db3jab3jci ,and this know1 that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come1 he would have watched1 and not have suffered his house to be broken through4 #db3jab3jdj ,be ye therefore ready also3 for the ,son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not4 #db3jab3jda ,then ,peter said unto him1 ,lord1 speakest thou this parable unto us1 or even to all8 #db3jab3jdb ,and the ,lord said1 ,who then is that faithful and wise steward1 whom his lord shall make ruler over his household1 to give them their portion of meat in due season8 #db3jab3jdc ,blessed is that servant1 whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing4 #db3jab3jdd ,of a truth ,i say unto you1 that he will make him ruler over all that he hath4 #db3jab3jde ,but and if that servant say in his heart1 ,my lord delayeth his coming2 and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens1 and to eat and drink1 and to be drunken2 #db3jab3jdf ,the lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him1 and at an hour when he is not aware1 and will cut him in sunder1 and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers4 #db3jab3jdg ,and that servant1 which knew his lord's will1 and prepared not himself1 neither did according to his will1 shall be beaten with many stripes4 #db3jab3jdh ,but he that knew not1 and did commit things worthy of stripes1 shall be beaten with few stripes4 ,for unto whomsoever much is given1 of him shall be much required3 and to whom men have committed much1 of him they will ask the more4 #db3jab3jdi ,i am come to send fire on the earth2 and what will ,i1 if it be already kindled8 #db3jab3jej ,but ,i have a baptism to be baptized with2 and how am ,i straitened till it be accomplished6 #db3jab3jea ,suppose ye that ,i am come to give peace on earth8 ,i tell you1 ,nay2 but rather division3 #db3jab3jeb ,for from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided1 three against two1 and two against three4 #db3jab3jec ,the father shall be divided against the son1 and the son against the father2 the mother against the daughter1 and the daughter against the mother2 the mother in law against her daughter in law1 and the daughter in law against her mother in law4 #db3jab3jed ,and he said also to the people1 ,when ye see a cloud rise out of the west1 straightway ye say1 ,there cometh a shower2 and so it is4 #db3jab3jee ,and when ye see the south wind blow1 ye say1 ,there will be heat2 and it cometh to pass4 #db3jab3jef ,ye hypocrites1 ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth2 but how is it that ye do not discern this time8 #db3jab3jeg ,yea1 and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right8 #db3jab3jeh ,when thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate1 as thou art in the way1 give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him2 lest he hale thee to the judge1 and the judge deliver thee to the officer1 and the officer cast thee into prison4 #db3jab3jei ,i tell thee1 thou shalt not depart thence1 till thou hast paid the very last mite4 #db3jac3jja ,there were present at that season some that told him of the ,galilaeans1 whose blood ,pilate had mingled with their sacrifices4 #db3jac3jjb ,and ,jesus answering said unto them1 ,suppose ye that these ,galilaeans were sinners above all the ,galilaeans1 because they suffered such things8 #db3jac3jjc ,i tell you1 ,nay3 but1 except ye repent1 ye shall all likewise perish4 #db3jac3jjd ,or those eighteen1 upon whom the tower in ,siloam fell1 and slew them1 think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in ,jerusalem8 #db3jac3jje ,i tell you1 ,nay3 but1 except ye repent1 ye shall all likewise perish4 #db3jac3jjf ,he spake also this parable2 ,a certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard2 and he came and sought fruit thereon1 and found none4 #db3jac3jjg ,then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard1 ,behold1 these three years ,i come seeking fruit on this fig tree1 and find none3 cut it down2 why cumbereth it the ground8 #db3jac3jjh ,and he answering said unto him1 ,lord1 let it alone this year also1 till ,i shall dig about it1 and dung it3 #db3jac3jji ,and if it bear fruit1 well3 and if not1 then after that thou shalt cut it down4 #db3jac3jaj ,and he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath4 #db3jac3jaa ,and1 behold1 there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years1 and was bowed together1 and could in no wise lift up herself4 #db3jac3jab ,and when ,jesus saw her1 he called her to him1 and said unto her1 ,woman1 thou art loosed from thine infirmity4 #db3jac3jac ,and he laid his hands on her3 and immediately she was made straight1 and glorified ,god4 #db3jac3jad ,and the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation1 because that ,jesus had healed on the sabbath day1 and said unto the people1 ,there are six days in which men ought to work3 in them therefore come and be healed1 and not on the sabbath day4 #db3jac3jae ,the ,lord then answered him1 and said1 ,thou hypocrite1 doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall1 and lead him away to watering8 #db3jac3jaf ,and ought not this woman1 being a daughter of ,abraham1 whom ,satan hath bound1 lo1 these eighteen years1 be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day8 #db3jac3jag ,and when he had said these things1 all his adversaries were ashamed3 and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him4 #db3jac3jah ,then said he1 ,unto what is the kingdom of ,god like8 and whereunto shall ,i resemble it8 #db3jac3jai ,it is like a grain of mustard seed1 which a man took1 and cast into his garden2 and it grew1 and waxed a great tree2 and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it4 #db3jac3jbj ,and again he said1 ,whereunto shall ,i liken the kingdom of ,god8 #db3jac3jba ,it is like leaven1 which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal1 till the whole was leavened4 #db3jac3jbb ,and he went through the cities and villages1 teaching1 and journeying toward ,jerusalem4 #db3jac3jbc ,then said one unto him1 ,lord1 are there few that be saved8 ,and he said unto them1 #db3jac3jbd ,strive to enter in at the strait gate3 for many1 ,i say unto you1 will seek to enter in1 and shall not be able4 #db3jac3jbe ,when once the master of the house is risen up1 and hath shut to the door1 and ye begin to stand without1 and to knock at the door1 saying1 ,lord1 ,lord1 open unto us2 and he shall answer and say unto you1 ,i know you not whence ye are3 #db3jac3jbf ,then shall ye begin to say1 ,we have eaten and drunk in thy presence1 and thou hast taught in our streets4 #db3jac3jbg ,but he shall say1 ,i tell you1 ,i know you not whence ye are2 depart from me1 all ye workers of iniquity4 #db3jac3jbh ,there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth1 when ye shall see ,abraham1 and ,isaac1 and ,jacob1 and all the prophets1 in the kingdom of ,god1 and you yourselves thrust out4 #db3jac3jbi ,and they shall come from the east1 and from the west1 and from the north1 and from the south1 and shall sit down in the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jac3jcj ,and1 behold1 there are last which shall be first1 and there are first which shall be last4 #db3jac3jca ,the same day there came certain of the ,pharisees1 saying unto him1 ,get thee out1 and depart hence3 for ,herod will kill thee4 #db3jac3jcb ,and he said unto them1 ,go ye1 and tell that fox1 ,behold1 ,i cast out devils1 and ,i do cures to day and to morrow1 and the third day ,i shall be perfected4 #db3jac3jcc ,nevertheless ,i must walk to day1 and to morrow1 and the day following3 for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of ,jerusalem4 #db3jac3jcd ,o ,jerusalem1 ,jerusalem1 which killest the prophets1 and stonest them that are sent unto thee2 how often would ,i have gathered thy children together1 as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings1 and ye would not6 #db3jac3jce ,behold1 your house is left unto you desolate3 and verily ,i say unto you1 ,ye shall not see me1 until the time come when ye shall say1 ,blessed is he that cometh in the name of the ,lord4 #db3jad3jja ,and it came to pass1 as he went into the house of one of the chief ,pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day1 that they watched him4 #db3jad3jjb ,and1 behold1 there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy4 #db3jad3jjc ,and ,jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and ,pharisees1 saying1 ,is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day8 #db3jad3jjd ,and they held their peace4 ,and he took him1 and healed him1 and let him go2 #db3jad3jje ,and answered them1 saying1 ,which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit1 and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day8 #db3jad3jjf ,and they could not answer him again to these things4 #db3jad3jjg ,and he put forth a parable to those which were bidden1 when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms2 saying unto them4 #db3jad3jjh ,when thou art bidden of any man to a wedding1 sit not down in the highest room2 lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him2 #db3jad3jji ,and he that bade thee and him come and say to thee1 ,give this man place2 and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room4 #db3jad3jaj ,but when thou art bidden1 go and sit down in the lowest room2 that when he that bade thee cometh1 he may say unto thee1 ,friend1 go up higher3 then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee4 #db3jad3jaa ,for whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased2 and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted4 #db3jad3jab ,then said he also to him that bade him1 ,when thou makest a dinner or a supper1 call not thy friends1 nor thy brethren1 neither thy kinsmen1 nor thy rich neighbours2 lest they also bid thee again1 and a recompence be made thee4 #db3jad3jac ,but when thou makest a feast1 call the poor1 the maimed1 the lame1 the blind3 #db3jad3jad ,and thou shalt be blessed2 for they cannot recompense thee3 for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just4 #db3jad3jae ,and when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things1 he said unto him1 ,blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jad3jaf ,then said he unto him1 ,a certain man made a great supper1 and bade many3 #db3jad3jag ,and sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden1 ,come2 for all things are now ready4 #db3jad3jah ,and they all with one consent began to make excuse4 ,the first said unto him1 ,i have bought a piece of ground1 and ,i must needs go and see it3 ,i pray thee have me excused4 #db3jad3jai ,and another said1 ,i have bought five yoke of oxen1 and ,i go to prove them3 ,i pray thee have me excused4 #db3jad3jbj ,and another said1 ,i have married a wife1 and therefore ,i cannot come4 #db3jad3jba ,so that servant came1 and shewed his lord these things4 ,then the master of the house being angry said to his servant1 ,go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city1 and bring in hither the poor1 and the maimed1 and the halt1 and the blind4 #db3jad3jbb ,and the servant said1 ,lord1 it is done as thou hast commanded1 and yet there is room4 #db3jad3jbc ,and the lord said unto the servant1 ,go out into the highways and hedges1 and compel them to come in1 that my house may be filled4 #db3jad3jbd ,for ,i say unto you1 ,that none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper4 #db3jad3jbe ,and there went great multitudes with him3 and he turned1 and said unto them1 #db3jad3jbf ,if any man come to me1 and hate not his father1 and mother1 and wife1 and children1 and brethren1 and sisters1 yea1 and his own life also1 he cannot be my disciple4 #db3jad3jbg ,and whosoever doth not bear his cross1 and come after me1 cannot be my disciple4 #db3jad3jbh ,for which of you1 intending to build a tower1 sitteth not down first1 and counteth the cost1 whether he have sufficient to finish it8 #db3jad3jbi ,lest haply1 after he hath laid the foundation1 and is not able to finish it1 all that behold it begin to mock him1 #db3jad3jcj ,saying1 ,this man began to build1 and was not able to finish4 #db3jad3jca ,or what king1 going to make war against another king1 sitteth not down first1 and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand8 #db3jad3jcb ,or else1 while the other is yet a great way off1 he sendeth an ambassage1 and desireth conditions of peace4 #db3jad3jcc ,so likewise1 whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath1 he cannot be my disciple4 #db3jad3jcd ,salt is good3 but if the salt have lost his savour1 wherewith shall it be seasoned8 #db3jad3jce ,it is neither fit for the land1 nor yet for the dunghill2 but men cast it out4 ,he that hath ears to hear1 let him hear4 #db3jae3jja ,then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him4 #db3jae3jjb ,and the ,pharisees and scribes murmured1 saying1 ,this man receiveth sinners1 and eateth with them4 #db3jae3jjc ,and he spake this parable unto them1 saying1 #db3jae3jjd ,what man of you1 having an hundred sheep1 if he lose one of them1 doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness1 and go after that which is lost1 until he find it8 #db3jae3jje ,and when he hath found it1 he layeth it on his shoulders1 rejoicing4 #db3jae3jjf ,and when he cometh home1 he calleth together his friends and neighbours1 saying unto them1 ,rejoice with me2 for ,i have found my sheep which was lost4 #db3jae3jjg ,i say unto you1 that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth1 more than over ninety and nine just persons1 which need no repentance4 #db3jae3jjh ,either what woman having ten pieces of silver1 if she lose one piece1 doth not light a candle1 and sweep the house1 and seek diligently till she find it8 #db3jae3jji ,and when she hath found it1 she calleth her friends and her neighbours together1 saying1 ,rejoice with me2 for ,i have found the piece which ,i had lost4 #db3jae3jaj ,likewise1 ,i say unto you1 there is joy in the presence of the angels of ,god over one sinner that repenteth4 #db3jae3jaa ,and he said1 ,a certain man had two sons3 #db3jae3jab ,and the younger of them said to his father1 ,father1 give me the portion of goods that falleth to me4 ,and he divided unto them his living4 #db3jae3jac ,and not many days after the younger son gathered all together1 and took his journey into a far country1 and there wasted his substance with riotous living4 #db3jae3jad ,and when he had spent all1 there arose a mighty famine in that land2 and he began to be in want4 #db3jae3jae ,and he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country2 and he sent him into his fields to feed swine4 #db3jae3jaf ,and he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat3 and no man gave unto him4 #db3jae3jag ,and when he came to himself1 he said1 ,how many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare1 and ,i perish with hunger6 #db3jae3jah ,i will arise and go to my father1 and will say unto him1 ,father1 ,i have sinned against heaven1 and before thee1 #db3jae3jai ,and am no more worthy to be called thy son3 make me as one of thy hired servants4 #db3jae3jbj ,and he arose1 and came to his father4 ,but when he was yet a great way off1 his father saw him1 and had compassion1 and ran1 and fell on his neck1 and kissed him4 #db3jae3jba ,and the son said unto him1 ,father1 ,i have sinned against heaven1 and in thy sight1 and am no more worthy to be called thy son4 #db3jae3jbb ,but the father said to his servants1 ,bring forth the best robe1 and put it on him2 and put a ring on his hand1 and shoes on his feet3 #db3jae3jbc ,and bring hither the fatted calf1 and kill it2 and let us eat1 and be merry3 #db3jae3jbd ,for this my son was dead1 and is alive again2 he was lost1 and is found4 ,and they began to be merry4 #db3jae3jbe ,now his elder son was in the field3 and as he came and drew nigh to the house1 he heard musick and dancing4 #db3jae3jbf ,and he called one of the servants1 and asked what these things meant4 #db3jae3jbg ,and he said unto him1 ,thy brother is come2 and thy father hath killed the fatted calf1 because he hath received him safe and sound4 #db3jae3jbh ,and he was angry1 and would not go in3 therefore came his father out1 and intreated him4 #db3jae3jbi ,and he answering said to his father1 ,lo1 these many years do ,i serve thee1 neither transgressed ,i at any time thy commandment3 and yet thou never gavest me a kid1 that ,i might make merry with my friends3 #db3jae3jcj ,but as soon as this thy son was come1 which hath devoured thy living with harlots1 thou hast killed for him the fatted calf4 #db3jae3jca ,and he said unto him1 ,son1 thou art ever with me1 and all that ,i have is thine4 #db3jae3jcb ,it was meet that we should make merry1 and be glad3 for this thy brother was dead1 and is alive again2 and was lost1 and is found4 #db3jaf3jja ,and he said also unto his disciples1 ,there was a certain rich man1 which had a steward2 and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods4 #db3jaf3jjb ,and he called him1 and said unto him1 ,how is it that ,i hear this of thee8 give an account of thy stewardship2 for thou mayest be no longer steward4 #db3jaf3jjc ,then the steward said within himself1 ,what shall ,i do8 for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship3 ,i cannot dig2 to beg ,i am ashamed4 #db3jaf3jjd ,i am resolved what to do1 that1 when ,i am put out of the stewardship1 they may receive me into their houses4 #db3jaf3jje ,so he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him1 and said unto the first1 ,how much owest thou unto my lord8 #db3jaf3jjf ,and he said1 ,an hundred measures of oil4 ,and he said unto him1 ,take thy bill1 and sit down quickly1 and write fifty4 #db3jaf3jjg ,then said he to another1 ,and how much owest thou8 ,and he said1 ,an hundred measures of wheat4 ,and he said unto him1 ,take thy bill1 and write fourscore4 #db3jaf3jjh ,and the lord commended the unjust steward1 because he had done wisely3 for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light4 #db3jaf3jji ,and ,i say unto you1 ,make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness2 that1 when ye fail1 they may receive you into everlasting habitations4 #db3jaf3jaj ,he that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much3 and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much4 #db3jaf3jaa ,if therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon1 who will commit to your trust the true riches8 #db3jaf3jab ,and if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's1 who shall give you that which is your own8 #db3jaf3jac ,no servant can serve two masters3 for either he will hate the one1 and love the other2 or else he will hold to the one1 and despise the other4 ,ye cannot serve ,god and mammon4 #db3jaf3jad ,and the ,pharisees also1 who were covetous1 heard all these things3 and they derided him4 #db3jaf3jae ,and he said unto them1 ,ye are they which justify yourselves before men2 but ,god knoweth your hearts3 for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of ,god4 #db3jaf3jaf ,the law and the prophets were until ,john3 since that time the kingdom of ,god is preached1 and every man presseth into it4 #db3jaf3jag ,and it is easier for heaven and earth to pass1 than one tittle of the law to fail4 #db3jaf3jah ,whosoever putteth away his wife1 and marrieth another1 committeth adultery3 and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery4 #db3jaf3jai ,there was a certain rich man1 which was clothed in purple and fine linen1 and fared sumptuously every day3 #db3jaf3jbj ,and there was a certain beggar named ,lazarus1 which was laid at his gate1 full of sores1 #db3jaf3jba ,and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table3 moreover the dogs came and licked his sores4 #db3jaf3jbb ,and it came to pass1 that the beggar died1 and was carried by the angels into ,abraham's bosom3 the rich man also died1 and was buried2 #db3jaf3jbc ,and in hell he lift up his eyes1 being in torments1 and seeth ,abraham afar off1 and ,lazarus in his bosom4 #db3jaf3jbd ,and he cried and said1 ,father ,abraham1 have mercy on me1 and send ,lazarus1 that he may dip the tip of his finger in water1 and cool my tongue2 for ,i am tormented in this flame4 #db3jaf3jbe ,but ,abraham said1 ,son1 remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things1 and likewise ,lazarus evil things3 but now he is comforted1 and thou art tormented4 #db3jaf3jbf ,and beside all this1 between us and you there is a great gulf fixed3 so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot2 neither can they pass to us1 that would come from thence4 #db3jaf3jbg ,then he said1 ,i pray thee therefore1 father1 that thou wouldest send him to my father's house3 #db3jaf3jbh ,for ,i have five brethren2 that he may testify unto them1 lest they also come into this place of torment4 #db3jaf3jbi ,abraham saith unto him1 ,they have ,moses and the prophets2 let them hear them4 #db3jaf3jcj ,and he said1 ,nay1 father ,abraham3 but if one went unto them from the dead1 they will repent4 #db3jaf3jca ,and he said unto him1 ,if they hear not ,moses and the prophets1 neither will they be persuaded1 though one rose from the dead4 #db3jag3jja ,then said he unto the disciples1 ,it is impossible but that offences will come3 but woe unto him1 through whom they come6 #db3jag3jjb ,it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck1 and he cast into the sea1 than that he should offend one of these little ones4 #db3jag3jjc ,take heed to yourselves3 ,if thy brother trespass against thee1 rebuke him2 and if he repent1 forgive him4 #db3jag3jjd ,and if he trespass against thee seven times in a day1 and seven times in a day turn again to thee1 saying1 ,i repent2 thou shalt forgive him4 #db3jag3jje ,and the apostles said unto the ,lord1 ,increase our faith4 #db3jag3jjf ,and the ,lord said1 ,if ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed1 ye might say unto this sycamine tree1 ,be thou plucked up by the root1 and be thou planted in the sea2 and it should obey you4 #db3jag3jjg ,but which of you1 having a servant plowing or feeding cattle1 will say unto him by and by1 when he is come from the field1 ,go and sit down to meat8 #db3jag3jjh ,and will not rather say unto him1 ,make ready wherewith ,i may sup1 and gird thyself1 and serve me1 till ,i have eaten and drunken2 and afterward thou shalt eat and drink8 #db3jag3jji ,doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him8 ,i trow not4 #db3jag3jaj ,so likewise ye1 when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you1 say1 ,we are unprofitable servants3 we have done that which was our duty to do4 #db3jag3jaa ,and it came to pass1 as he went to ,jerusalem1 that he passed through the midst of ,samaria and ,galilee4 #db3jag3jab ,and as he entered into a certain village1 there met him ten men that were lepers1 which stood afar off3 #db3jag3jac ,and they lifted up their voices1 and said1 ,jesus1 ,master1 have mercy on us4 #db3jag3jad ,and when he saw them1 he said unto them1 ,go shew yourselves unto the priests4 ,and it came to pass1 that1 as they went1 they were cleansed4 #db3jag3jae ,and one of them1 when he saw that he was healed1 turned back1 and with a loud voice glorified ,god1 #db3jag3jaf ,and fell down on his face at his feet1 giving him thanks3 and he was a ,samaritan4 #db3jag3jag ,and ,jesus answering said1 ,were there not ten cleansed8 but where are the nine8 #db3jag3jah ,there are not found that returned to give glory to ,god1 save this stranger4 #db3jag3jai ,and he said unto him1 ,arise1 go thy way3 thy faith hath made thee whole4 #db3jag3jbj ,and when he was demanded of the ,pharisees1 when the kingdom of ,god should come1 he answered them and said1 ,the kingdom of ,god cometh not with observation3 #db3jag3jba ,neither shall they say1 ,lo here6 or1 lo there6 for1 behold1 the kingdom of ,god is within you4 #db3jag3jbb ,and he said unto the disciples1 ,the days will come1 when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the ,son of man1 and ye shall not see it4 #db3jag3jbc ,and they shall say to you1 ,see here2 or1 see there3 go not after them1 nor follow them4 #db3jag3jbd ,for as the lightning1 that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven1 shineth unto the other part under heaven2 so shall also the ,son of man be in his day4 #db3jag3jbe ,but first must he suffer many things1 and be rejected of this generation4 #db3jag3jbf ,and as it was in the days of ,noe1 so shall it be also in the days of the ,son of man4 #db3jag3jbg ,they did eat1 they drank1 they married wives1 they were given in marriage1 until the day that ,noe entered into the ark1 and the flood came1 and destroyed them all4 #db3jag3jbh ,likewise also as it was in the days of ,lot2 they did eat1 they drank1 they bought1 they sold1 they planted1 they builded2 #db3jag3jbi ,but the same day that ,lot went out of ,sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven1 and destroyed them all4 #db3jag3jcj ,even thus shall it be in the day when the ,son of man is revealed4 #db3jag3jca ,in that day1 he which shall be upon the housetop1 and his stuff in the house1 let him not come down to take it away3 and he that is in the field1 let him likewise not return back4 #db3jag3jcb ,remember ,lot's wife4 #db3jag3jcc ,whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it2 and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it4 #db3jag3jcd ,i tell you1 in that night there shall be two men in one bed2 the one shall be taken1 and the other shall be left4 #db3jag3jce ,two women shall be grinding together2 the one shall be taken1 and the other left4 #db3jag3jcf ,two men shall be in the field2 the one shall be taken1 and the other left4 #db3jag3jcg ,and they answered and said unto him1 ,where1 ,lord8 ,and he said unto them1 ,wheresoever the body is1 thither will the eagles be gathered together4 #db3jah3jja ,and he spake a parable unto them to this end1 that men ought always to pray1 and not to faint2 #db3jah3jjb ,saying1 ,there was in a city a judge1 which feared not ,god1 neither regarded man3 #db3jah3jjc ,and there was a widow in that city2 and she came unto him1 saying1 ,avenge me of mine adversary4 #db3jah3jjd ,and he would not for a while3 but afterward he said within himself1 ,though ,i fear not ,god1 nor regard man2 #db3jah3jje ,yet because this widow troubleth me1 ,i will avenge her1 lest by her continual coming she weary me4 #db3jah3jjf ,and the ,lord said1 ,hear what the unjust judge saith4 #db3jah3jjg ,and shall not ,god avenge his own elect1 which cry day and night unto him1 though he bear long with them8 #db3jah3jjh ,i tell you that he will avenge them speedily4 ,nevertheless when the ,son of man cometh1 shall he find faith on the earth8 #db3jah3jji ,and he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous1 and despised others3 #db3jah3jaj ,two men went up into the temple to pray2 the one a ,pharisee1 and the other a publican4 #db3jah3jaa ,the ,pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself1 ,god1 ,i thank thee1 that ,i am not as other men are1 extortioners1 unjust1 adulterers1 or even as this publican4 #db3jah3jab ,i fast twice in the week1 ,i give tithes of all that ,i possess4 #db3jah3jac ,and the publican1 standing afar off1 would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven1 but smote upon his breast1 saying1 ,god be merciful to me a sinner4 #db3jah3jad ,i tell you1 this man went down to his house justified rather than the other3 for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased2 and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted4 #db3jah3jae ,and they brought unto him also infants1 that he would touch them3 but when his disciples saw it1 they rebuked them4 #db3jah3jaf ,but ,jesus called them unto him1 and said1 ,suffer little children to come unto me1 and forbid them not3 for of such is the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jah3jag ,verily ,i say unto you1 ,whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of ,god as a little child shall in no wise enter therein4 #db3jah3jah ,and a certain ruler asked him1 saying1 ,good ,master1 what shall ,i do to inherit eternal life8 #db3jah3jai ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,why callest thou me good8 none is good1 save one1 that is1 ,god4 #db3jah3jbj ,thou knowest the commandments1 ,do not commit adultery1 ,do not kill1 ,do not steal1 ,do not bear false witness1 ,honour thy father and thy mother4 #db3jah3jba ,and he said1 ,all these have ,i kept from my youth up4 #db3jah3jbb ,now when ,jesus heard these things1 he said unto him1 ,yet lackest thou one thing3 sell all that thou hast1 and distribute unto the poor1 and thou shalt have treasure in heaven3 and come1 follow me4 #db3jah3jbc ,and when he heard this1 he was very sorrowful3 for he was very rich4 #db3jah3jbd ,and when ,jesus saw that he was very sorrowful1 he said1 ,how hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of ,god6 #db3jah3jbe ,for it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye1 than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jah3jbf ,and they that heard it said1 ,who then can be saved8 #db3jah3jbg ,and he said1 ,the things which are impossible with men are possible with ,god4 #db3jah3jbh ,then ,peter said1 ,lo1 we have left all1 and followed thee4 #db3jah3jbi ,and he said unto them1 ,verily ,i say unto you1 ,there is no man that hath left house1 or parents1 or brethren1 or wife1 or children1 for the kingdom of ,god's sake1 #db3jah3jcj ,who shall not receive manifold more in this present time1 and in the world to come life everlasting4 #db3jah3jca ,then he took unto him the twelve1 and said unto them1 ,behold1 we go up to ,jerusalem1 and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the ,son of man shall be accomplished4 #db3jah3jcb ,for he shall be delivered unto the ,gentiles1 and shall be mocked1 and spitefully entreated1 and spitted on3 #db3jah3jcc ,and they shall scourge him1 and put him to death3 and the third day he shall rise again4 #db3jah3jcd ,and they understood none of these things3 and this saying was hid from them1 neither knew they the things which were spoken4 #db3jah3jce ,and it came to pass1 that as he was come nigh unto ,jericho1 a certain blind man sat by the way side begging3 #db3jah3jcf ,and hearing the multitude pass by1 he asked what it meant4 #db3jah3jcg ,and they told him1 that ,jesus of ,nazareth passeth by4 #db3jah3jch ,and he cried1 saying1 ,jesus1 thou son of ,david1 have mercy on me4 #db3jah3jci ,and they which went before rebuked him1 that he should hold his peace3 but he cried so much the more1 ,thou son of ,david1 have mercy on me4 #db3jah3jdj ,and ,jesus stood1 and commanded him to be brought unto him3 and when he was come near1 he asked him1 #db3jah3jda ,saying1 ,what wilt thou that ,i shall do unto thee8 ,and he said1 ,lord1 that ,i may receive my sight4 #db3jah3jdb ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,receive thy sight3 thy faith hath saved thee4 #db3jah3jdc ,and immediately he received his sight1 and followed him1 glorifying ,god3 and all the people1 when they saw it1 gave praise unto ,god4 #db3jai3jja ,and ,jesus entered and passed through ,jericho4 #db3jai3jjb ,and1 behold1 there was a man named ,zacchaeus1 which was the chief among the publicans1 and he was rich4 #db3jai3jjc ,and he sought to see ,jesus who he was2 and could not for the press1 because he was little of stature4 #db3jai3jjd ,and he ran before1 and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him3 for he was to pass that way4 #db3jai3jje ,and when ,jesus came to the place1 he looked up1 and saw him1 and said unto him1 ,zacchaeus1 make haste1 and come down2 for to day ,i must abide at thy house4 #db3jai3jjf ,and he made haste1 and came down1 and received him joyfully4 #db3jai3jjg ,and when they saw it1 they all murmured1 saying1 ,that he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner4 #db3jai3jjh ,and ,zacchaeus stood1 and said unto the ,lord3 ,behold1 ,lord1 the half of my goods ,i give to the poor2 and if ,i have taken any thing from any man by false accusation1 ,i restore him fourfold4 #db3jai3jji ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,this day is salvation come to this house1 forsomuch as he also is a son of ,abraham4 #db3jai3jaj ,for the ,son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost4 #db3jai3jaa ,and as they heard these things1 he added and spake a parable1 because he was nigh to ,jerusalem1 and because they thought that the kingdom of ,god should immediately appear4 #db3jai3jab ,he said therefore1 ,a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom1 and to return4 #db3jai3jac ,and he called his ten servants1 and delivered them ten pounds1 and said unto them1 ,occupy till ,i come4 #db3jai3jad ,but his citizens hated him1 and sent a message after him1 saying1 ,we will not have this man to reign over us4 #db3jai3jae ,and it came to pass1 that when he was returned1 having received the kingdom1 then he commanded these servants to be called unto him1 to whom he had given the money1 that he might know how much every man had gained by trading4 #db3jai3jaf ,then came the first1 saying1 ,lord1 thy pound hath gained ten pounds4 #db3jai3jag ,and he said unto him1 ,well1 thou good servant3 because thou hast been faithful in a very little1 have thou authority over ten cities4 #db3jai3jah ,and the second came1 saying1 ,lord1 thy pound hath gained five pounds4 #db3jai3jai ,and he said likewise to him1 ,be thou also over five cities4 #db3jai3jbj ,and another came1 saying1 ,lord1 behold1 here is thy pound1 which ,i have kept laid up in a napkin3 #db3jai3jba ,for ,i feared thee1 because thou art an austere man3 thou takest up that thou layedst not down1 and reapest that thou didst not sow4 #db3jai3jbb ,and he saith unto him1 ,out of thine own mouth will ,i judge thee1 thou wicked servant4 ,thou knewest that ,i was an austere man1 taking up that ,i laid not down1 and reaping that ,i did not sow3 #db3jai3jbc ,wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank1 that at my coming ,i might have required mine own with usury8 #db3jai3jbd ,and he said unto them that stood by1 ,take from him the pound1 and give it to him that hath ten pounds4 #db3jai3jbe 7,and they said unto him1 ,lord1 he hath ten pounds47 #db3jai3jbf ,for ,i say unto you1 ,that unto every one which hath shall be given2 and from him that hath not1 even that he hath shall be taken away from him4 #db3jai3jbg ,but those mine enemies1 which would not that ,i should reign over them1 bring hither1 and slay them before me4 #db3jai3jbh ,and when he had thus spoken1 he went before1 ascending up to ,jerusalem4 #db3jai3jbi ,and it came to pass1 when he was come nigh to ,bethphage and ,bethany1 at the mount called the mount of ,olives1 he sent two of his disciples1 #db3jai3jcj ,saying1 ,go ye into the village over against you2 in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied1 whereon yet never man sat3 loose him1 and bring him hither4 #db3jai3jca ,and if any man ask you1 ,why do ye loose him8 thus shall ye say unto him1 ,because the ,lord hath need of him4 #db3jai3jcb ,and they that were sent went their way1 and found even as he had said unto them4 #db3jai3jcc ,and as they were loosing the colt1 the owners thereof said unto them1 ,why loose ye the colt8 #db3jai3jcd ,and they said1 ,the ,lord hath need of him4 #db3jai3jce ,and they brought him to ,jesus3 and they cast their garments upon the colt1 and they set ,jesus thereon4 #db3jai3jcf ,and as he went1 they spread their clothes in the way4 #db3jai3jcg ,and when he was come nigh1 even now at the descent of the mount of ,olives1 the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise ,god with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen2 #db3jai3jch ,saying1 ,blessed be the ,king that cometh in the name of the ,lord3 peace in heaven1 and glory in the highest4 #db3jai3jci ,and some of the ,pharisees from among the multitude said unto him1 ,master1 rebuke thy disciples4 #db3jai3jdj ,and he answered and said unto them1 ,i tell you that1 if these should hold their peace1 the stones would immediately cry out4 #db3jai3jda ,and when he was come near1 he beheld the city1 and wept over it1 #db3jai3jdb ,saying1 ,if thou hadst known1 even thou1 at least in this thy day1 the things which belong unto thy peace6 but now they are hid from thine eyes4 #db3jai3jdc ,for the days shall come upon thee1 that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee1 and compass thee round1 and keep thee in on every side1 #db3jai3jdd ,and shall lay thee even with the ground1 and thy children within thee2 and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another2 because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation4 #db3jai3jde ,and he went into the temple1 and began to cast out them that sold therein1 and them that bought2 #db3jai3jdf ,saying unto them1 ,it is written1 ,my house is the house of prayer3 but ye have made it a den of thieves4 #db3jai3jdg ,and he taught daily in the temple4 ,but the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him1 #db3jai3jdh ,and could not find what they might do3 for all the people were very attentive to hear him4 #db3jbj3jja ,and it came to pass1 that on one of those days1 as he taught the people in the temple1 and preached the gospel1 the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders1 #db3jbj3jjb ,and spake unto him1 saying1 ,tell us1 by what authority doest thou these things8 or who is he that gave thee this authority8 #db3jbj3jjc ,and he answered and said unto them1 ,i will also ask you one thing2 and answer me3 #db3jbj3jjd ,the baptism of ,john1 was it from heaven1 or of men8 #db3jbj3jje ,and they reasoned with themselves1 saying1 ,if we shall say1 ,from heaven2 he will say1 ,why then believed ye him not8 #db3jbj3jjf ,but and if we say1 ,of men2 all the people will stone us3 for they be persuaded that ,john was a prophet4 #db3jbj3jjg ,and they answered1 that they could not tell whence it was4 #db3jbj3jjh ,and ,jesus said unto them1 ,neither tell ,i you by what authority ,i do these things4 #db3jbj3jji ,then began he to speak to the people this parable2 ,a certain man planted a vineyard1 and let it forth to husbandmen1 and went into a far country for a long time4 #db3jbj3jaj ,and at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen1 that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard3 but the husbandmen beat him1 and sent him away empty4 #db3jbj3jaa ,and again he sent another servant3 and they beat him also1 and entreated him shamefully1 and sent him away empty4 #db3jbj3jab ,and again he sent a third3 and they wounded him also1 and cast him out4 #db3jbj3jac ,then said the lord of the vineyard1 ,what shall ,i do8 ,i will send my beloved son3 it may be they will reverence him when they see him4 #db3jbj3jad ,but when the husbandmen saw him1 they reasoned among themselves1 saying1 ,this is the heir3 come1 let us kill him1 that the inheritance may be ours4 #db3jbj3jae ,so they cast him out of the vineyard1 and killed him4 ,what therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them8 #db3jbj3jaf ,he shall come and destroy these husbandmen1 and shall give the vineyard to others4 ,and when they heard it1 they said1 ,god forbid4 #db3jbj3jag ,and he beheld them1 and said1 ,what is this then that is written1 ,the stone which the builders rejected1 the same is become the head of the corner8 #db3jbj3jah ,whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken2 but on whomsoever it shall fall1 it will grind him to powder4 #db3jbj3jai ,and the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him2 and they feared the people3 for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them4 #db3jbj3jbj ,and they watched him1 and sent forth spies1 which should feign themselves just men1 that they might take hold of his words1 that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor4 #db3jbj3jba ,and they asked him1 saying1 ,master1 we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly1 neither acceptest thou the person of any1 but teachest the way of ,god truly3 #db3jbj3jbb ,is it lawful for us to give tribute unto ,caesar1 or no8 #db3jbj3jbc ,but he perceived their craftiness1 and said unto them1 ,why tempt ye me8 #db3jbj3jbd ,shew me a penny4 ,whose image and superscription hath it8 ,they answered and said1 ,caesar's4 #db3jbj3jbe ,and he said unto them1 ,render therefore unto ,caesar the things which be ,caesar's1 and unto ,god the things which be ,god's4 #db3jbj3jbf ,and they could not take hold of his words before the people3 and they marvelled at his answer1 and held their peace4 #db3jbj3jbg ,then came to him certain of the ,sadducees1 which deny that there is any resurrection2 and they asked him1 #db3jbj3jbh ,saying1 ,master1 ,moses wrote unto us1 ,if any man's brother die1 having a wife1 and he die without children1 that his brother should take his wife1 and raise up seed unto his brother4 #db3jbj3jbi ,there were therefore seven brethren3 and the first took a wife1 and died without children4 #db3jbj3jcj ,and the second took her to wife1 and he died childless4 #db3jbj3jca ,and the third took her2 and in like manner the seven also3 and they left no children1 and died4 #db3jbj3jcb ,last of all the woman died also4 #db3jbj3jcc ,therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she8 for seven had her to wife4 #db3jbj3jcd ,and ,jesus answering said unto them1 ,the children of this world marry1 and are given in marriage3 #db3jbj3jce ,but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world1 and the resurrection from the dead1 neither marry1 nor are given in marriage3 #db3jbj3jcf ,neither can they die any more3 for they are equal unto the angels2 and are the children of ,god1 being the children of the resurrection4 #db3jbj3jcg ,now that the dead are raised1 even ,moses shewed at the bush1 when he calleth the ,lord the ,god of ,abraham1 and the ,god of ,isaac1 and the ,god of ,jacob4 #db3jbj3jch ,for he is not a ,god of the dead1 but of the living3 for all live unto him4 #db3jbj3jci ,then certain of the scribes answering said1 ,master1 thou hast well said4 #db3jbj3jdj ,and after that they durst not ask him any question at all4 #db3jbj3jda ,and he said unto them1 ,how say they that ,christ is ,david's son8 #db3jbj3jdb ,and ,david himself saith in the book of ,psalms1 ,the ,,lord said unto my ,lord1 ,sit thou on my right hand1 #db3jbj3jdc ,till ,i make thine enemies thy footstool4 #db3jbj3jdd ,david therefore calleth him ,lord1 how is he then his son8 #db3jbj3jde ,then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples1 #db3jbj3jdf ,beware of the scribes1 which desire to walk in long robes1 and love greetings in the markets1 and the highest seats in the synagogues1 and the chief rooms at feasts2 #db3jbj3jdg ,which devour widows' houses1 and for a shew make long prayers3 the same shall receive greater damnation4 #db3jba3jja ,and he looked up1 and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury4 #db3jba3jjb ,and he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites4 #db3jba3jjc ,and he said1 ,of a truth ,i say unto you1 that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all3 #db3jba3jjd ,for all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of ,god3 but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had4 #db3jba3jje ,and as some spake of the temple1 how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts1 he said1 #db3jba3jjf ,as for these things which ye behold1 the days will come1 in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another1 that shall not be thrown down4 #db3jba3jjg ,and they asked him1 saying1 ,master1 but when shall these things be8 and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass8 #db3jba3jjh ,and he said1 ,take heed that ye be not deceived3 for many shall come in my name1 saying1 ,i am ,christ2 and the time draweth near3 go ye not therefore after them4 #db3jba3jji ,but when ye shall hear of wars and commotions1 be not terrified3 for these things must first come to pass2 but the end is not by and by4 #db3jba3jaj ,then said he unto them1 ,nation shall rise against nation1 and kingdom against kingdom3 #db3jba3jaa ,and great earthquakes shall be in divers places1 and famines1 and pestilences2 and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven4 #db3jba3jab ,but before all these1 they shall lay their hands on you1 and persecute you1 delivering you up to the synagogues1 and into prisons1 being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake4 #db3jba3jac ,and it shall turn to you for a testimony4 #db3jba3jad ,settle it therefore in your hearts1 not to meditate before what ye shall answer3 #db3jba3jae ,for ,i will give you a mouth and wisdom1 which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist4 #db3jba3jaf ,and ye shall be betrayed both by parents1 and brethren1 and kinsfolks1 and friends2 and some of you shall they cause to be put to death4 #db3jba3jag ,and ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake4 #db3jba3jah ,but there shall not an hair of your head perish4 #db3jba3jai ,in your patience possess ye your souls4 #db3jba3jbj ,and when ye shall see ,jerusalem compassed with armies1 then know that the desolation thereof is nigh4 #db3jba3jba ,then let them which are in ,judaea flee to the mountains2 and let them which are in the midst of it depart out2 and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto4 #db3jba3jbb ,for these be the days of vengeance1 that all things which are written may be fulfilled4 #db3jba3jbc ,but woe unto them that are with child1 and to them that give suck1 in those days6 for there shall be great distress in the land1 and wrath upon this people4 #db3jba3jbd ,and they shall fall by the edge of the sword1 and shall be led away captive into all nations3 and ,jerusalem shall be trodden down of the ,gentiles1 until the times of the ,gentiles be fulfilled4 #db3jba3jbe ,and there shall be signs in the sun1 and in the moon1 and in the stars2 and upon the earth distress of nations1 with perplexity2 the sea and the waves roaring2 #db3jba3jbf ,men's hearts failing them for fear1 and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth3 for the powers of heaven shall be shaken4 #db3jba3jbg ,and then shall they see the ,son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory4 #db3jba3jbh ,and when these things begin to come to pass1 then look up1 and lift up your heads2 for your redemption draweth nigh4 #db3jba3jbi ,and he spake to them a parable2 ,behold the fig tree1 and all the trees2 #db3jba3jcj ,when they now shoot forth1 ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand4 #db3jba3jca ,so likewise ye1 when ye see these things come to pass1 know ye that the kingdom of ,god is nigh at hand4 #db3jba3jcb ,verily ,i say unto you1 ,this generation shall not pass away1 till all be fulfilled4 #db3jba3jcc ,heaven and earth shall pass away3 but my words shall not pass away4 #db3jba3jcd ,and take heed to yourselves1 lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting1 and drunkenness1 and cares of this life1 and so that day come upon you unawares4 #db3jba3jce ,for as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth4 #db3jba3jcf ,watch ye therefore1 and pray always1 that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass1 and to stand before the ,son of man4 #db3jba3jcg ,and in the day time he was teaching in the temple2 and at night he went out1 and abode in the mount that is called the mount of ,olives4 #db3jba3jch ,and all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple1 for to hear him4 #db3jbb3jja ,now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh1 which is called the ,passover4 #db3jbb3jjb ,and the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him2 for they feared the people4 #db3jbb3jjc ,then entered ,satan into ,judas surnamed ,iscariot1 being of the number of the twelve4 #db3jbb3jjd ,and he went his way1 and communed with the chief priests and captains1 how he might betray him unto them4 #db3jbb3jje ,and they were glad1 and covenanted to give him money4 #db3jbb3jjf ,and he promised1 and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude4 #db3jbb3jjg ,then came the day of unleavened bread1 when the passover must be killed4 #db3jbb3jjh ,and he sent ,peter and ,john1 saying1 ,go and prepare us the passover1 that we may eat4 #db3jbb3jji ,and they said unto him1 ,where wilt thou that we prepare8 #db3jbb3jaj ,and he said unto them1 ,behold1 when ye are entered into the city1 there shall a man meet you1 bearing a pitcher of water2 follow him into the house where he entereth in4 #db3jbb3jaa ,and ye shall say unto the goodman of the house1 ,the ,master saith unto thee1 ,where is the guestchamber1 where ,i shall eat the passover with my disciples8 #db3jbb3jab ,and he shall shew you a large upper room furnished3 there make ready4 #db3jbb3jac ,and they went1 and found as he had said unto them3 and they made ready the passover4 #db3jbb3jad ,and when the hour was come1 he sat down1 and the twelve apostles with him4 #db3jbb3jae ,and he said unto them1 ,with desire ,i have desired to eat this passover with you before ,i suffer3 #db3jbb3jaf ,for ,i say unto you1 ,i will not any more eat thereof1 until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jbb3jag ,and he took the cup1 and gave thanks1 and said1 ,take this1 and divide it among yourselves3 #db3jbb3jah ,for ,i say unto you1 ,i will not drink of the fruit of the vine1 until the kingdom of ,god shall come4 #db3jbb3jai ,and he took bread1 and gave thanks1 and brake it1 and gave unto them1 saying1 ,this is my body which is given for you3 this do in remembrance of me4 #db3jbb3jbj ,likewise also the cup after supper1 saying1 ,this cup is the new testament in my blood1 which is shed for you4 #db3jbb3jba ,but1 behold1 the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table4 #db3jbb3jbb ,and truly the ,son of man goeth1 as it was determined3 but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed6 #db3jbb3jbc ,and they began to enquire among themselves1 which of them it was that should do this thing4 #db3jbb3jbd ,and there was also a strife among them1 which of them should be accounted the greatest4 #db3jbb3jbe ,and he said unto them1 ,the kings of the ,gentiles exercise lordship over them2 and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors4 #db3jbb3jbf ,but ye shall not be so3 but he that is greatest among you1 let him be as the younger2 and he that is chief1 as he that doth serve4 #db3jbb3jbg ,for whether is greater1 he that sitteth at meat1 or he that serveth8 is not he that sitteth at meat8 but ,i am among you as he that serveth4 #db3jbb3jbh ,ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations4 #db3jbb3jbi ,and ,i appoint unto you a kingdom1 as my ,father hath appointed unto me2 #db3jbb3jcj ,that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom1 and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of ,israel4 #db3jbb3jca ,and the ,lord said1 ,simon1 ,simon1 behold1 ,satan hath desired to have you1 that he may sift you as wheat3 #db3jbb3jcb ,but ,i have prayed for thee1 that thy faith fail not3 and when thou art converted1 strengthen thy brethren4 #db3jbb3jcc ,and he said unto him1 ,lord1 ,i am ready to go with thee1 both into prison1 and to death4 #db3jbb3jcd ,and he said1 ,i tell thee1 ,peter1 the cock shall not crow this day1 before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me4 #db3jbb3jce ,and he said unto them1 ,when ,i sent you without purse1 and scrip1 and shoes1 lacked ye any thing8 ,and they said1 ,nothing4 #db3jbb3jcf ,then said he unto them1 ,but now1 he that hath a purse1 let him take it1 and likewise his scrip3 and he that hath no sword1 let him sell his garment1 and buy one4 #db3jbb3jcg ,for ,i say unto you1 that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me1 ,and he was reckoned among the transgressors3 for the things concerning me have an end4 #db3jbb3jch ,and they said1 ,lord1 behold1 here are two swords4 ,and he said unto them1 ,it is enough4 #db3jbb3jci ,and he came out1 and went1 as he was wont1 to the mount of ,olives2 and his disciples also followed him4 #db3jbb3jdj ,and when he was at the place1 he said unto them1 ,pray that ye enter not into temptation4 #db3jbb3jda ,and he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast1 and kneeled down1 and prayed1 #db3jbb3jdb ,saying1 ,father1 if thou be willing1 remove this cup from me3 nevertheless not my will1 but thine1 be done4 #db3jbb3jdc ,and there appeared an angel unto him from heaven1 strengthening him4 #db3jbb3jdd ,and being in an agony he prayed more earnestly3 and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground4 #db3jbb3jde ,and when he rose up from prayer1 and was come to his disciples1 he found them sleeping for sorrow1 #db3jbb3jdf ,and said unto them1 ,why sleep ye8 rise and pray1 lest ye enter into temptation4 #db3jbb3jdg ,and while he yet spake1 behold a multitude1 and he that was called ,judas1 one of the twelve1 went before them1 and drew near unto ,jesus to kiss him4 #db3jbb3jdh ,but ,jesus said unto him1 ,judas1 betrayest thou the ,son of man with a kiss8 #db3jbb3jdi ,when they which were about him saw what would follow1 they said unto him1 ,lord1 shall we smite with the sword8 #db3jbb3jej ,and one of them smote the servant of the high priest1 and cut off his right ear4 #db3jbb3jea ,and ,jesus answered and said1 ,suffer ye thus far4 ,and he touched his ear1 and healed him4 #db3jbb3jeb ,then ,jesus said unto the chief priests1 and captains of the temple1 and the elders1 which were come to him1 ,be ye come out1 as against a thief1 with swords and staves8 #db3jbb3jec ,when ,i was daily with you in the temple1 ye stretched forth no hands against me3 but this is your hour1 and the power of darkness4 #db3jbb3jed ,then took they him1 and led him1 and brought him into the high priest's house4 ,and ,peter followed afar off4 #db3jbb3jee ,and when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall1 and were set down together1 ,peter sat down among them4 #db3jbb3jef ,but a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire1 and earnestly looked upon him1 and said1 ,this man was also with him4 #db3jbb3jeg ,and he denied him1 saying1 ,woman1 ,i know him not4 #db3jbb3jeh ,and after a little while another saw him1 and said1 ,thou art also of them4 ,and ,peter said1 ,man1 ,i am not4 #db3jbb3jei ,and about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed1 saying1 ,of a truth this fellow also was with him3 for he is a ,galilaean4 #db3jbb3jfj ,and ,peter said1 ,man1 ,i know not what thou sayest4 ,and immediately1 while he yet spake1 the cock crew4 #db3jbb3jfa ,and the ,lord turned1 and looked upon ,peter4 ,and ,peter remembered the word of the ,lord1 how he had said unto him1 ,before the cock crow1 thou shalt deny me thrice4 #db3jbb3jfb ,and ,peter went out1 and wept bitterly4 #db3jbb3jfc ,and the men that held ,jesus mocked him1 and smote him4 #db3jbb3jfd ,and when they had blindfolded him1 they struck him on the face1 and asked him1 saying1 ,prophesy1 who is it that smote thee8 #db3jbb3jfe ,and many other things blasphemously spake they against him4 #db3jbb3jff ,and as soon as it was day1 the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together1 and led him into their council1 saying1 #db3jbb3jfg ,art thou the ,christ8 tell us4 ,and he said unto them1 ,if ,i tell you1 ye will not believe3 #db3jbb3jfh ,and if ,i also ask you1 ye will not answer me1 nor let me go4 #db3jbb3jfi ,hereafter shall the ,son of man sit on the right hand of the power of ,god4 #db3jbb3jgj ,then said they all1 ,art thou then the ,son of ,god8 ,and he said unto them1 ,ye say that ,i am4 #db3jbb3jga ,and they said1 ,what need we any further witness8 for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth4 #db3jbc3jja ,and the whole multitude of them arose1 and led him unto ,pilate4 #db3jbc3jjb ,and they began to accuse him1 saying1 ,we found this fellow perverting the nation1 and forbidding to give tribute to ,caesar1 saying that he himself is ,christ a ,king4 #db3jbc3jjc ,and ,pilate asked him1 saying1 ,art thou the ,king of the ,jews8 ,and he answered him and said1 ,thou sayest it4 #db3jbc3jjd ,then said ,pilate to the chief priests and to the people1 ,i find no fault in this man4 #db3jbc3jje ,and they were the more fierce1 saying1 ,he stirreth up the people1 teaching throughout all ,jewry1 beginning from ,galilee to this place4 #db3jbc3jjf ,when ,pilate heard of ,galilee1 he asked whether the man were a ,galilaean4 #db3jbc3jjg ,and as soon as he knew that he belonged unto ,herod's jurisdiction1 he sent him to ,herod1 who himself also was at ,jerusalem at that time4 #db3jbc3jjh ,and when ,herod saw ,jesus1 he was exceeding glad3 for he was desirous to see him of a long season1 because he had heard many things of him2 and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him4 #db3jbc3jji ,then he questioned with him in many words2 but he answered him nothing4 #db3jbc3jaj ,and the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him4 #db3jbc3jaa ,and ,herod with his men of war set him at nought1 and mocked him1 and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe1 and sent him again to ,pilate4 #db3jbc3jab ,and the same day ,pilate and ,herod were made friends together3 for before they were at enmity between themselves4 #db3jbc3jac ,and ,pilate1 when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people1 #db3jbc3jad ,said unto them1 ,ye have brought this man unto me1 as one that perverteth the people3 and1 behold1 ,i1 having examined him before you1 have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him3 #db3jbc3jae ,no1 nor yet ,herod3 for ,i sent you to him2 and1 lo1 nothing worthy of death is done unto him4 #db3jbc3jaf ,i will therefore chastise him1 and release him4 #db3jbc3jag 7,for of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast47 #db3jbc3jah ,and they cried out all at once1 saying1 ,away with this man1 and release unto us ,barabbas3 #db3jbc3jai 7,who for a certain sedition made in the city1 and for murder1 was cast into prison47 #db3jbc3jbj ,pilate therefore1 willing to release ,jesus1 spake again to them4 #db3jbc3jba ,but they cried1 saying1 ,crucify him1 crucify him4 #db3jbc3jbb ,and he said unto them the third time1 ,why1 what evil hath he done8 ,i have found no cause of death in him3 ,i will therefore chastise him1 and let him go4 #db3jbc3jbc ,and they were instant with loud voices1 requiring that he might be crucified4 ,and the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed4 #db3jbc3jbd ,and ,pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required4 #db3jbc3jbe ,and he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison1 whom they had desired2 but he delivered ,jesus to their will4 #db3jbc3jbf ,and as they led him away1 they laid hold upon one ,simon1 a ,cyrenian1 coming out of the country1 and on him they laid the cross1 that he might bear it after ,jesus4 #db3jbc3jbg ,and there followed him a great company of people1 and of women1 which also bewailed and lamented him4 #db3jbc3jbh ,but ,jesus turning unto them said1 ,daughters of ,jerusalem1 weep not for me1 but weep for yourselves1 and for your children4 #db3jbc3jbi ,for1 behold1 the days are coming1 in the which they shall say1 ,blessed are the barren1 and the wombs that never bare1 and the paps which never gave suck4 #db3jbc3jcj ,then shall they begin to say to the mountains1 ,fall on us2 and to the hills1 ,cover us4 #db3jbc3jca ,for if they do these things in a green tree1 what shall be done in the dry8 #db3jbc3jcb ,and there were also two other1 malefactors1 led with him to be put to death4 #db3jbc3jcc ,and when they were come to the place1 which is called ,calvary1 there they crucified him1 and the malefactors1 one on the right hand1 and the other on the left4 #db3jbc3jcd ,then said ,jesus1 ,father1 forgive them2 for they know not what they do4 ,and they parted his raiment1 and cast lots4 #db3jbc3jce ,and the people stood beholding4 ,and the rulers also with them derided him1 saying1 ,he saved others2 let him save himself1 if he be ,christ1 the chosen of ,god4 #db3jbc3jcf ,and the soldiers also mocked him1 coming to him1 and offering him vinegar1 #db3jbc3jcg ,and saying1 ,if thou be the king of the ,jews1 save thyself4 #db3jbc3jch ,and a superscription also was written over him in letters of ,greek1 and ,latin1 and ,hebrew1 ,,this ,,is ,,the ,,king ,,of ,,the ,,jews4 #db3jbc3jci ,and one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him1 saying1 ,if thou be ,christ1 save thyself and us4 #db3jbc3jdj ,but the other answering rebuked him1 saying1 ,dost not thou fear ,god1 seeing thou art in the same condemnation8 #db3jbc3jda ,and we indeed justly2 for we receive the due reward of our deeds3 but this man hath done nothing amiss4 #db3jbc3jdb ,and he said unto ,jesus1 ,lord1 remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom4 #db3jbc3jdc ,and ,jesus said unto him1 ,verily ,i say unto thee1 ,to day shalt thou be with me in paradise4 #db3jbc3jdd ,and it was about the sixth hour1 and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour4 #db3jbc3jde ,and the sun was darkened1 and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst4 #db3jbc3jdf ,and when ,jesus had cried with a loud voice1 he said1 ,father1 into thy hands ,i commend my spirit3 and having said thus1 he gave up the ghost4 #db3jbc3jdg ,now when the centurion saw what was done1 he glorified ,god1 saying1 ,certainly this was a righteous man4 #db3jbc3jdh ,and all the people that came together to that sight1 beholding the things which were done1 smote their breasts1 and returned4 #db3jbc3jdi ,and all his acquaintance1 and the women that followed him from ,galilee1 stood afar off1 beholding these things4 #db3jbc3jej ,and1 behold1 there was a man named ,joseph1 a counsellor2 and he was a good man1 and a just3 #db3jbc3jea 7,the same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them27 he was of ,arimathaea1 a city of the ,jews3 who also himself waited for the kingdom of ,god4 #db3jbc3jeb ,this man went unto ,pilate1 and begged the body of ,jesus4 #db3jbc3jec ,and he took it down1 and wrapped it in linen1 and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone1 wherein never man before was laid4 #db3jbc3jed ,and that day was the preparation1 and the sabbath drew on4 #db3jbc3jee ,and the women also1 which came with him from ,galilee1 followed after1 and beheld the sepulchre1 and how his body was laid4 #db3jbc3jef ,and they returned1 and prepared spices and ointments2 and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment4 #db3jbd3jja ,now upon the first day of the week1 very early in the morning1 they came unto the sepulchre1 bringing the spices which they had prepared1 and certain others with them4 #db3jbd3jjb ,and they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre4 #db3jbd3jjc ,and they entered in1 and found not the body of the ,lord ,jesus4 #db3jbd3jjd ,and it came to pass1 as they were much perplexed thereabout1 behold1 two men stood by them in shining garments3 #db3jbd3jje ,and as they were afraid1 and bowed down their faces to the earth1 they said unto them1 ,why seek ye the living among the dead8 #db3jbd3jjf ,he is not here1 but is risen3 remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in ,galilee1 #db3jbd3jjg ,saying1 ,the ,son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men1 and be crucified1 and the third day rise again4 #db3jbd3jjh ,and they remembered his words1 #db3jbd3jji ,and returned from the sepulchre1 and told all these things unto the eleven1 and to all the rest4 #db3jbd3jaj ,it was ,mary ,magdalene and ,joanna1 and ,mary the mother of ,james1 and other women that were with them1 which told these things unto the apostles4 #db3jbd3jaa ,and their words seemed to them as idle tales1 and they believed them not4 #db3jbd3jab ,then arose ,peter1 and ran unto the sepulchre2 and stooping down1 he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves1 and departed1 wondering in himself at that which was come to pass4 #db3jbd3jac ,and1 behold1 two of them went that same day to a village called ,emmaus1 which was from ,jerusalem about threescore furlongs4 #db3jbd3jad ,and they talked together of all these things which had happened4 #db3jbd3jae ,and it came to pass1 that1 while they communed together and reasoned1 ,jesus himself drew near1 and went with them4 #db3jbd3jaf ,but their eyes were holden that they should not know him4 #db3jbd3jag ,and he said unto them1 ,what manner of communications are these that ye have one to another1 as ye walk1 and are sad8 #db3jbd3jah ,and the one of them1 whose name was ,cleopas1 answering said unto him1 ,art thou only a stranger in ,jerusalem1 and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days8 #db3jbd3jai ,and he said unto them1 ,what things8 ,and they said unto him1 ,concerning ,jesus of ,nazareth1 which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before ,god and all the people3 #db3jbd3jbj ,and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death1 and have crucified him4 #db3jbd3jba ,but we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed ,israel3 and beside all this1 to day is the third day since these things were done4 #db3jbd3jbb ,yea1 and certain women also of our company made us astonished1 which were early at the sepulchre2 #db3jbd3jbc ,and when they found not his body1 they came1 saying1 that they had also seen a vision of angels1 which said that he was alive4 #db3jbd3jbd ,and certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre1 and found it even so as the women had said3 but him they saw not4 #db3jbd3jbe ,then he said unto them1 ,o fools1 and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken3 #db3jbd3jbf ,ought not ,christ to have suffered these things1 and to enter into his glory8 #db3jbd3jbg ,and beginning at ,moses and all the prophets1 he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself4 #db3jbd3jbh ,and they drew nigh unto the village1 whither they went3 and he made as though he would have gone further4 #db3jbd3jbi ,but they constrained him1 saying1 ,abide with us3 for it is toward evening1 and the day is far spent4 ,and he went in to tarry with them4 #db3jbd3jcj ,and it came to pass1 as he sat at meat with them1 he took bread1 and blessed it1 and brake1 and gave to them4 #db3jbd3jca ,and their eyes were opened1 and they knew him2 and he vanished out of their sight4 #db3jbd3jcb ,and they said one to another1 ,did not our heart burn within us1 while he talked with us by the way1 and while he opened to us the scriptures8 #db3jbd3jcc ,and they rose up the same hour1 and returned to ,jerusalem1 and found the eleven gathered together1 and them that were with them1 #db3jbd3jcd ,saying1 ,the ,lord is risen indeed1 and hath appeared to ,simon4 #db3jbd3jce ,and they told what things were done in the way1 and how he was known of them in breaking of bread4 #db3jbd3jcf ,and as they thus spake1 ,jesus himself stood in the midst of them1 and saith unto them1 ,peace be unto you4 #db3jbd3jcg ,but they were terrified and affrighted1 and supposed that they had seen a spirit4 #db3jbd3jch ,and he said unto them1 ,why are ye troubled8 and why do thoughts arise in your hearts8 #db3jbd3jci ,behold my hands and my feet1 that it is ,i myself3 handle me1 and see2 for a spirit hath not flesh and bones1 as ye see me have4 #db3jbd3jdj ,and when he had thus spoken1 he shewed them his hands and his feet4 #db3jbd3jda ,and while they yet believed not for joy1 and wondered1 he said unto them1 ,have ye here any meat8 #db3jbd3jdb ,and they gave him a piece of a broiled fish1 and of an honeycomb4 #db3jbd3jdc ,and he took it1 and did eat before them4 #db3jbd3jdd ,and he said unto them1 ,these are the words which ,i spake unto you1 while ,i was yet with you1 that all things must be fulfilled1 which were written in the law of ,moses1 and in the prophets1 and in the psalms1 concerning me4 #db3jbd3jde ,then opened he their understanding1 that they might understand the scriptures1 #db3jbd3jdf ,and said unto them1 ,thus it is written1 and thus it behoved ,christ to suffer1 and to rise from the dead the third day3 #db3jbd3jdg ,and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations1 beginning at ,jerusalem4 #db3jbd3jdh ,and ye are witnesses of these things4 #db3jbd3jdi ,and1 behold1 ,i send the promise of my ,father upon you3 but tarry ye in the city of ,jerusalem1 until ye be endued with power from on high4 #db3jbd3jej ,and he led them out as far as to ,bethany1 and he lifted up his hands1 and blessed them4 #db3jbd3jea ,and it came to pass1 while he blessed them1 he was parted from them1 and carried up into heaven4 #db3jbd3jeb ,and they worshipped him1 and returned to ,jerusalem with great joy3 #db3jbd3jec ,and were continually in the temple1 praising and blessing ,god4 ,amen4
