again the games of which he makes such excellent fun4 ,but1 selfishly1 we cannot regret the ,turkish bullet1 which turned what ,i suspect of being quite an ordinary engineer into such an individual black-and-white draughtsman4 ,i am really the last person who should be writing this introduction1 for all drawing is to me a mystery4 ,when ,i put two dots1 a horizontal line and a vertical line into ,punch office now1 ,i should never begin my weekly contribution until his drawing had turned up1 lest it should prove that he had already written it for me2 and he1 ,i like to tell myself1 would be equally fearful lest that very week ,i might have got his drawing into type4 ,the ,tragedy of a ,trouser1 for instance--it is a whole article4 ,any wide-awake ,trade ,union would forbid it4 ,but it is
